Starting this thread for anyone that have questions or concerns about the 2018 fall nursing program at Miami Dade College. I have a 4.0 science gpa and studying to take the hesi by the end of February. I also plan on applying for the generic full time as well as the accelerated program because I'm not sure which one I want yet. I already have a bachelors from FIU and I literally started all the prerequisites the summer of 2017. If anywho took those sequences can you please share your stories? Pro and con.. And also what is the hesi like!
Does anyone know if they're done sending acceptance emails? Or if there is another wave?
I heard they still are but who knows because orientation is this week for full time and next week for part time and students are suppose to have everything done by orientation date so not sure if its just rejection letters - praying there is still room!
Hello everyone,
I am recent graduate of the Miami Dade Generic Program and have a couple items to sell:
I have 2 Medium sized shirts with the logo (15.00 each)
I have 2 Medium sized shirts with the logo for clinicals ($20.00 each)
Books: *Im not sure if these are the books they still use so double check with the yellow paper they give you at orientation but I just graduated May 2018 so it should be.
Brunner & Suddarth's Textbook of Medical-Surgical Nursing (13th edition)- for 40.00 (in very good condition, i barely highlighted anything)
Pharmacology: A Patient-Centered Nursing Process Approach (8th edition) - for 20.00
Saunders Comprehensive Review for the NCLEX-RN Examination / Edition 6 - for 15.00
Also feel free to ask any questions about the program. I know nursing school can be hard and required dedication but its not the monster everyone makes it out to be.

For those that got in in the second round can you tell me what your deadline is to accept?
