Fall 2016 MANE Programs

Published

Hi! Just checking in to see if there are any other pre-nursing students out there applying to the MANE programs for next Fall. I know the applications are due in the next couple of weeks and I just wanted to hear everyone's thoughts. I've submitted one to Century and am turning in Normandale's on Monday. Still waiting to hear back on a prerequisite waiver for IHCC.

KyraMaeLynne, don't get too down on yourself yet. I know when I met with an advisor at IHCC their last semester had accepted people ranging from 10.4-12.4. Anything is possible!

lindsay199, if I'm lucky enough to have options, I think distance and the commute will be the deciding factor for me but I'll drive wherever I need to as long as I get in somewhere.

Hi guys and gals!

This will be my first year applying to the MANE program, and am only applying to Metro. Probably not the best idea applying to only one school! My fingers are crossed.

My GPA is 3.59, TEAS V is 82.7%, composite of 11.86.

The advisor told me the last spot for Fall '15 was given to a student with a composite of 10.8

I am applying to all 5 schools. My preference is Century or MCTC. My composite score is 11.67 (for the requirements that include Chemistry) but a little higher for the schools that exclude chemistry as one of the core courses. I got 82.2% on the TEAS but my science was in the mid 60's :(

It already feels like it has been forever since the deadline....I just want to know now!

I agree! Feels like ages already... I'm honestly just trying to put it in the back of my mind and remember that we only have a month left and usually the months seem to fly by!

Sending positive vibes your way!

I applied to Inver Hills, Century College, and Metro State University! I heard the lowest combined score at Metro was a 10.8 last year. I kind of want to go to a Community college so I can start working with my two year degree and finish my bachelors while working.

Specializes in I've done it all, but only on animals!.

I applied to nhcc with a 12.5! Eeek. So excited. Goof luck everyone. Hope I get in!

Hey everyone!

This is my first time applying to the mane program. I only sent in an application for Century so I'm super nervous.

I have a composite score of 11.14 so I have no idea if its a good enough score but I'm starting to freak out. Its only a couple weeks until they send out the letters.

Good luck to everyone!!!!

I saw someone of Instagram post that they were accepted into Inver Hills, it's time finally!

Someone was accepted already? I thought they didn't mail letters out until Monday?! Oh my gosh.

I thought the same thing but there was a picture of the letter and everything
