  1. Hi! Im a new grad RN who has work in an animal emergency,cc, icu for 7 years and trained other staff extensively. I am recently hired in a 24 bed transitional care/rehabilitation care place. I am starting with overnights, which I know I love. I was told Ill be working with 2 other team lead nurses who vary between Rns and lpns, mainly be lpns. When asked about who the nurse in charge would be she said me. I got excited initially amd took the job. I have not started yet and am very nervous. Should I be doing this as a new grad? while I am older and have been around a lot of medical situations and conundrums and such I feel I may be in too deep? Ive been an excellent student and overexceeded jn clinicals so I guess I dont know until I try? The place is a part of a large company owning specialty and hospital in my city so I dont beleive they are just hiring me to hire, but truly beleive in me? Is this still a bad idea?
  2. I started a Facebook group called North Hennepin Cc MANE. says north Hennepin but anyone who is officially a nursing student please join and help each other out#!!!

  9. A lot of the schools don't tell you they have an evening option on their website, i.e. NHCC. And when you do ask any questions they tell you to go to an informational meeting...I am trying to see from other people looking around, what they found, and of course I look at the accredited ones via the states site...thanks
  10. I am looking for a school where I can get my r.n., like an associates program that puts you through to get your bsn. Is there anywhere in the cities that I can do this and still work? Are there any night/weekend places? I heard maybe north henn. Cc? Anywhere else? I have a bachelors in biomedical so I have most all the classes for any program to apply right in. Thanks
