I'm trying to decide between inver and normandale? Can anyone guide me in one direction or the other? Their NCLEX pass rates are also pretty similar. Congrats to to everyone and good luck to everyone still waiting!! :)

Does anyone know when Normandale sends out letters? If I am accepted there, I will most likely be declining IHCC. I think I remember reading on Normandale's website that they don't notify you until the end of April but that seems so odd since everyone else sends the letters out now and the apps were due at the same time.

That's so weird! That's a whole week early and I'm freaking out now.

KyraMaeLynne, don't get too down on yourself yet. I know when I met with an advisor at IHCC their last semester had accepted people ranging from 10.4-12.4. Anything is possible! lindsay199, if I'm lucky enough to have options, I think distance and the commute will be the deciding factor for me but I'll drive wherever I need to as long as I get in somewhere.

A 12.7 is phenomenal! I know at IHCC my composite came to 12.4 so we'll see! I don't know exactly what any of my other composite scores are but my TEAS score is what's helping me the most. I finished and turned in my apps for Century, IHCC, and Normandale. I definitely hate the waiting though and that's all we can do now. What is your first choice for programs?

Hi everyone! bake0905, they only look at your combined GPA of those first 4 MANE classes in the first semester of the curriculum. You do need to have the second semester classes in progress or finished by the time you apply (at least that is the message I got) and those classes need to keep your GPA above a 2.75 but they are not factored in to whether you are accepted into the program or not. Does that make sense? Lindsay199, how'd your TEAS go??

Hi! Just checking in to see if there are any other pre-nursing students out there applying to the MANE programs for next Fall. I know the applications are due in the next couple of weeks and I just wanted to hear everyone's thoughts. I've submitted one to Century and am turning in Normandale's on Monday. Still waiting to hear back on a prerequisite waiver for IHCC.

Congratulations on the new job! That's awesome! :) I have high hopes but am also trying to be realistic about it all. I realize it's super competitive so we'll see what happens. Good luck though! Keep me posted.

Hey everyone! I also finished and mailed in my app on Friday! This is my first time applying and I am really nervous. My science GPA isn't very strong but I did really well on the TEAS V test and have been working as a CNA for over a month now. My fingers are crossed but the other posts I've read on here are pretty discouraging.. at least when it comes to getting in on your first try.
