  1. I interviewed for FNP over a month ago and understood at that time that we were looking at early March for possible decisions, though acceptances and interviews are rolling so it can vary for each person. That's all I know! I feel like I'm in the same boat as many of you - trying to tame my anxiousness and be hopeful. X Crossing my fingers for updates sooner than later for all of us!
  2. I got an interview invite last night for FNP, so keep checking those inbaskets!!
  3. Same here ? I know the U is on Winter break until January 19th so I'm not holding my breath for anything over the next week or so. It's definitely hard not hearing anything - helps to know I'm not alone though!
  4. I'm hoping it could be any time... I had noticed in some previous years people were posting about interviews by early December. Nothing is predictable in 2020 though ? - I'll keep you posted if I hear anything & hopefully some others chime in too!
  5. Hello there! I applied to the FNP program - still waiting to hear anything. Any news on your end? What specialty are you going for? A few of us connected on a different board posted by a midwifery applicant for 2021. Hope good news comes your way!!
  6. I'm in the same boat! Applied for FNP 2021 & happy to discover that I am not the only one anxiously waiting to hear! It looks like last year they started sending out interview dates in early December, but with the way 2020 is going I'm not holding any steadfast expectations ?. Crossing my fingers for everyone - let's all keep eachother updated! Hope you all stay well and healthy in the meantime.
  7. I would retake the TEAS if I were you. There is always more studying that can be done and you certainly have plenty of time. You should literally have the manual memorized. With enough practice, there's no reason you can't achieve close to 100% in the math section to the very least. Get a tutor if you have to. Century also offers a TEAS study course for ~$150 that many have found helpful. Retaking the TEAS would be far cheaper than retaking a class. Plus, I think that you can submit your BEST score in the event of you somehow doing worse on your second attempt. Therefore, I don't really think anything should stop you from at least trying. I also recommend purchasing the online TEAS practice exams (at least one of them). It will map out exactly which areas need the most work. You can take it twice. I took a practice test at the beginning of studying, and again 3 days before my test to freshen up on what I still needed. You should shoot for at least an 11.4 to be mildly competitive (even this would likely be waitlist at Century, but you'd be near the top and probably get in), and make sure that you are applying to EVERY school that you could feasibly get to. For instance, You likely would have gotten admitted to Anoka-Ramsey with the score that you had this time. Their Coon Rapids campus is only 20 minutes away from Century and the requirements are the same. I know many people who were accepted to their program at your level. Also keep in mind, if you do not get in this round or the next, the TEAS will be updating and you will have to retake an entirely new version. I don't imagine anybody wants to do that. Best of Luck to you either way! Maybe you will still be able to get in this semester and won't have to worry about anything!!
  8. Yay! I will see you at century!
  9. I don't have it with me right now, but is it the same woman who dealt with the initial application? Carolyn Dela Cruz Enrollment Services 2500 East 80th Street Inver Grove Heights* MN* 55076 [email protected]
  10. The evening option was the only reason I was considering NHCC at all. Im choosing another program now. I understand your situation.... don't give up though! Some of the other programs are only 3 days a week so maybe you could find something part time? Depends if you bothered applying anywhere else í ¾í´”
  11. I will be taking my spot at century and turning down all of my other offers from AR, ihcc and nhcc. Composite score was 12.8. Good luck waitlisters- you're moving up! Anyone else going to century??
  12. I'm trying to decide between inver and century as well... have you taken a look at the upcoming schedules to see which suits you best? I believe inver runs tuesday through Friday 8 to noon (not including chosen clinicals and extra classes you may still need). Century generally starts at nine and goes until 2 three days a week (I believe one of the days is a little longer)... I'd have to look in my emails to tell you for sure what they told me Let me know what you decide! I'm struggling! Ive attended classes at both schools and dont have much preference as far as that goes... They both have similar nclex passing rates.
  13. Accepted at ihcc, century, nhcc, and Anoka Ramsey! That's all I applied to! Now it's decision time! Good luck to everyone still waiting :)
  14. I applied but nothing yet ! Still have to check today's mail....
  15. I'm still waiting for century too! I know that in the past they typically don't mail out letters until the 15th... so I'm really hoping after a couple days transit that we should hear back by tomorrow or friday!
