:Dim an lvn and going the bridge route. i was contacted on Wednesday. perhaps my case is slightly different as most are going the generic route, but we will all have our orientation the same day. nonetheless, we will all know in a couple of weeks. gltua:yeah:
Hi Caffeinaddict,
I thought that ---- said that the 2 yr program people won't know about the acceptance until July. Are you saying that both LVN bridge and 2 yr RN program people will have same orientation date? When is your orientation date? Congrats on your acceptance.:)
sup1, I'm pretty sure caffeine got accepted and is talking about Los Angeles Harbor College, the college I also got accepted into. LVN's and 2 year program students have orientation on the same day.
As of now, LA County prospective students won't find out about their acceptance and orientation date until July.
Hi Iliana,
I've been calling the LAC office for an update as to when they would mail out letters...first they said June 1st, two days ago someone else said 2 more weeks. I'm as anxious as everyone else. I really need to know since I got into Glendale but LAC is still my first choice and I need to make the commitment soon.
Has anyone else heard from County yet?
DoubleHelix,
First of all CONGRATS! on getting into Glendale!!! thats really good!!!! have you made any commitment to glendale yet or are you still waiting to hear from county?? and second thanks for the updates but as you can see its now June 18th and still nothing! ive been calling them too saying that they must know the cut off if theyre sending out letters but no one wants to say what it is!!
if anyone hears anything or calls let us know what happens!!

I finally called County and they said that the letters for the LVN bridge program are going out now. That was yesterday the 19th. I'm not sure what she meant by now, as in this instant, this week, or they plan on getting to them soon. My mom says this is just the way County works, it's a government facility like the DMV.
So now I'm more nervous than ever because I am expecting the letter to come any day. Good Luck everyone!
