Hey everybody. I'm not sure if it's too early but I'm making this page for anybody who is applying to the nursing program at Lonestar College for the Fall of 2019. Looks like Montgomery, Cyfair, and North Harris have applications from Jan 7-April 12. Good luck to everyone!

NH accepts 120 CF accepts 50 and then Montgomery,KW and Tomball accept about 40 each. So if you're not accepted right away you'll at least get on the waiting list. And some of those accepted are waiting to hear back from a BSN program.
Yeah that’s true. Fall is the best option as far as acceptance.. just makes me nervous as that total is about 250 and there’s 400 applicants that’s what gets me. ? Fingers crosses we all get in! ??

Hey I had a question about your first semester at CF! I'm interested in going to CF since it's close to me but the completion rate is extremely low compared to other campuses. Would you say it's that rigorous?

Definitely a regular in-person class, preferably with only one other class at the same time, maximum. Microbiology is on par with A&P I & II, in my opinion (and my classmates last semester). It is a wonderful, fast-paced class that is full of information that will help prepare you for nursing school and tie together so many things you have already learned, but definitely deserves and demands your full attention and absorption.
I was blessed to have one of the best Lone Star professors for micro. at the North Harris campus, Carol Crowder. She was an absolute delight and made the class as smooth as possible, but it was no walk in the park. At the beginning of the semester, I was working part-time as a writing consultant in the Center for reading and writing on the North Harris campus, but within 8 weeks- that became completely unmanageable and I had to resign my position or risk not performing to the standards I set for myself. I was able to finish out the class with an A, but that was due to near constant studying. I was only taking one class concurrently with micro, and it stretched me thin and gave me a good idea of the rigor up ahead in the nursing program. If you're anything like me, you will want to take a full, in-person class. Good luck, everyone!

I’ve contacted my first choose to see if they will look over my documents and was told if anything was missing or incorrect they will notify me before the deadline but i haven’t received anything so I’m taking that as a good sign!
