Fall 2019 Lonestar Hopefuls

Published

Hey everybody. I'm not sure if it's too early but I'm making this page for anybody who is applying to the nursing program at Lonestar College for the Fall of 2019. Looks like Montgomery, Cyfair, and North Harris have applications from Jan 7-April 12. Good luck to everyone!

I’m so glad the page is back I was so worried lol.. but I have a question what exactly did y’all upload for your heb b because I sent my lab results and that wasn’t good enough and my 3 series of shot ?

How do you know your lab results werent good enough??? I uploaded my results as well. Does yours show the quantity / number on it?

Hello you guys! I just spoke with the adviser at Lonestar cyfair today. Is anyone here a transfer student? Apparently, I can't submit my application online yet because I dont have a cumulative gpa from Lonestar so I have to email the nursing director to have her override this. ?

I know when I applied to LVN program, they nursing advisor emailed me to let know I had the wrong FERPA form, so maybe they would let you know if its the correct lab results or not. Not sure if all campuses would do that though.

They emailed me , but I figured out the problem. Since I already had my 3series of shots they want another blood test to see if I’m immune ughh.

Wow that's good to know they at least look/check the files that fast upon submitting the applications!!! I was fearful that I might upload something wrong and wouldn't be notified until later on!

Hi all! I'm applying to M, CF and NH (in that order) with a 7.648

Has anyone heard anything regarding any of the campuses nursing programs? One more difficult than another? Class schedules times? Anything else?

There are subtle differences within each program. Montgomery is probably the toughest. CyFair is the only program that has the block curriculum and goes through the summer too. You’re definitely gonna get in with that score. If not Montgomery (since the cut off was pretty high last semester) you’ll definitely be getting into one of the others. The times vary depending on the school. NH goes 3 days out of the week, 2 lecture days and 1 lab day & of course clinicals.

Does our score sheet need to be signed by advisor or our signature? On the requirements listed for some campuses it requests a “signed” score sheet.and on other campus nursing app requirements it simply states just the score sheet. Did anyone else get theirs signed?
