Fall 2018 Lone Star Hopefuls

Hey everyone, just wanted to start a Fall 2018 page for Lone Star ADN/LVN future students!

I took care of it at the registration desk. Did you guys take microbiology already?

I'm in Micro right now. My least favorite class lol

I had completed micro. Just trying to figure out why the approval was needed!! Oh no!!! I loved micro! But my professor was awesome!

I applied for LVN and basic track ADN.

I just applied for ADN basic track. I'm taking humanities in the May mini, Micro summer 1, and Pharm summer 2. None of the professors for summer micro had great reviews so i just chose one lol. Everything has been rushed for me because the company I worked for closed the office and I was laid off August 1. A week later I was registered for A&P 1. It was a crazy decision but I'm so excited and this wait is taking years off my life!

I took micro spring 2017 and knocked out pharmacology fall 2017. Micro was tough I got a C in that class, but I also took a really tough instructor. Steve Anaya at Tomball.

If you need to take pharm I highly recommend Linda Vogal at montgomery. She is tough, but very helpful. She is the one that got me set up to see the counselor for my test anxiety. I got a B in pharm.

Mr. Anaya was tough but funny. I took his hybrid class and managed to pull a B somehow.

That's who I'm taking. I chose it cause its a hybrid with 5 labs and my kids are out for summer so I can't be in classes all the time. Should i switch to the Atascocita instructor lol He has a really wierd name. It starts with a C I think.
