FALL 2020 Johns Hopkins MSN: Entry into Nursing

Hello everyone,

I'm currently preparing to apply to JHSON MSN: Entry into nursing program for fall 2020. I was wondering anyone has an idea what the acceptance criteria is?

I have a very good gpa in undergrad (3.92) so the admissions team told me I do not need to include GRE scores.

Also how many words should our essays be?

Not true. I applied before the Jan 1 deadline (and after the early/priority deadline) and haven't heard back one way or the other.

@lavieenrose same. I also called today and admissions claims they are still in the process of going through applications. Regardless of the deadline, they said that everyone should hear back up until the end of NEXT week.

My app was verified by nursingcas on 2/13. I Still have not heard back yet from school. I wonder why they extended deadline?

I applied late too in mid-Feb. and JHU told me to apply even though the deadline had passed because there were still open spots for start of Fall 2020. Not sure how many but I think that means there is hope.

Hello!

Crazy enough JHU reached out to me in the beginning of March to submit my application. I called admission today and they said that the latest to hear back from them is first week April, end of March.... Stay hopeful and don’t keep refreshing your email every 5 seconds like I am!

think positive; online classes will save you money on transportation. LOL. but yeah, we should just wait and see until we get closer to the start date. it’s still early to tell.

App in progress I needed like two transcripts and a reference

Me too! I needed to submit my transcript from JHU since I’m taking a prerequisite there. They submitted the transcript a couple days ago and I received an email that my application is complete. So this goes to show that they’re still reviewing applications.

Same.. I called today and they told me that they will be releasing decisions all this month... last week when I called, they told me late last week/ early this week.... guess the virus pushed everything back..??
