I haven't yet. I'm not trying to wait until the last minute, as I hate doing that, but I applied to respiratory care too as a backup. RN was always my first choice, but I wanted to give respiratory a chance to respond first. I have the email all ready to go in my drafts though.

That I'm not sure about. I don't qualify for Medicaid so I got short term medical from United Healthcare for about $100/month. My plan starts on July 1st-Dec 31, and I'm probably going to switch to Obama care after. I saw in the acceptance email that you c an contact them for insurance info though....I'm pasting it below...

It does! Thank you ? one last question - do you have the phone number for the short term insurance you got from United (Wanted that just in case they don’t accept what I have)? I don’t trust some of the sites I see and want to be sure it’s not a scam. I appreciate you.

Yes, I called 1-866-487-9299. They have about 30 different plans at different prices. It's a lot of insurance mumbo jumbo, but I chose a pretty basic plan bc, God willing, I really won't have to use it. Plus, I paid for my entire 6 months up front because they took $100 off when you pay in full. so instead of 6 months at $100/month, I paid just under $500 for all months in advance. Just an fyi.

Thank you so much! That’s what I’ll do to save some and be done with it just in case they don’t take what I have. I appreciate this so much. I was soo worried about it. It’s a bit stressful but I’m excited nonetheless. I wish you luck in which ever path you choose. One of my friend is in respiratory care. He loves his career path (he lives in Cali)

Thanks, but I'm choosing nursing, LOL. I don't think respiratory will respond by the deadline the nursing ppwk, and nursing is my dream. Respiratory was a "just in case" What cohort were you again?

Go nursing! Best wishes ❤️ Hoping we all stay in touch so that we can compare notes LOL! I made it into cohort 4. Just barely made the cut off at 3.9.I calculated my grade wrong and didn’t realized they counted my calc and my A for English I. What cohort are you in? This whole process had me sweating bullets. Now I’m sweating bullets trying to get the handle on everything we need to do and not mess up my paperwork. I even foldererd everything ? Have you worked on any of the other classes they listed under the nursing program? I was wondering how they’ll factor those in the semester. I did my nutrition and the rest of requirements besides the actual nursing courses and trying to knock out the ones I can do before transferring to USF for the bachelor’a program. I’m hoping they actually talk about Fuse too during the orientation

I called the number in the middle about an hour ago and was able to get someone!

I called them on Friday and they were quick to answer. I remember I called the first number listed. I suggest trying again today!

I had to call several times. Once you get them on the phone they’re quick to schedule and are super nice. I left a message on the system too but never got a call back. I would suggest calling again on all three numbers. You’re bound to get somebody. I would say though- they sounded really busy when I called
