If I offended anyone by saying “LOL” previously I’m sorry. But at this point it seems kind of petty honestly.
If someone was upset at my comment earlier, let me know.. but please don’t mock me.

Uh oh @Rachel Knudtson, did I miss something? I was definitely not offended or upset by anything you said.

Same, @Rachel Knudtson - the things I’ve seen you post didn’t seem offensive. Everyone has been very respectful and kind so far. ❤️

No offense taken here. I think its ridiculous that we are here still waiting to receive our emails. Hopefully soon

I know that the application said to allocate 4-6 weeks to hear on our admission status. Tomorrow marks 5 weeks, so hopefully we will hear by then and I can stop checking my email every hour haha ?

Yes! Between checking my personal email to get updates from this forum and constantly checking the school email- I’m about ready to pull my hair ?

@Oliviacrawforddd it does, but I don’t I think too much about that. I applied for Spring 2020 and was excepted but had to forfeit my seat as I was out of the country during orientation; we found out over seven weeks after the application deadline. In my experience, someone will post here once they receive their email which will trigger everyone else to check. From what I could tell in the past, emails go out in the afternoon, alternates received your email first, then the cohorts begin receiving your email. Back in October, the whole process took more than two hours.

The only thing that makes me think it will be this week is the orientation date. In the past orientation has taken place around four weeks after the notifications went out.

I’m so sorry to hear you had to forfeit your seat! I agree about the orientation date meaning we’ll probably hear something soon. Orientation is just a little over 3 weeks away, I just want to know something already so I can stop stressing! LOL

If you are granted a seat, are there rules for wearing nail polish during Nursing school? During clinicals? Just curious. I have heard of no acrylic nails, but just wanted to ask. Any information is appreciated, thank you.

I just looked on the Nursing Student Policy Manual that they updated earlier this month and it says, "Fingernails should be approximately fingertip length and clean. Nail polish, acrylic or gel nails and nail dip are not permitted per CDC recommendation"

You are correct! They do not allow you have your nails polished at clinicals or in the lab. It is not worth it to get your nails done during school, trust me LOL.

Yes there is a strict policy about nail polish/length, jewelry, piercings, and tattoos.
