Hey everyone! Wanted to go ahead and start a thread for our group. I've been following the spring and summer 2013 group a little and figured it might be a good idea to get focused for the fall 2013 group. I've completed all my prerequisites and took my NAT test. Got a 107 on the test and I'm sitting at a 93 will all the prerequisites. So I'm going into the application process with a 203. Does anyone know what the general cut off is? I'm a bit nervous but I'm sure everyone else is too. The only thing I haven't completed is the CPR. I read once that this can be done after acceptance into the program...is that true? Thanks everyone! Can't wait to start chatting!

I talked to the lady at the office and she said all the letters haven't been sent out yet and were supposed to wait 8 weeks which is August 1st.
Hi! That's interesting to know because our packet indicates that we the deadline to get in our physical, shots and background checks, etc. is July 29...so if the packets were not even supposed to be mailed yet, we should get more time to complete these things, too. I wonder what the cut-off date for those who receive their packet after August 1 will be?? By the way, good luck to you!!
Those that haven't received letters yet, I would say think positive. You may still be accepted or perhaps on waiting list. Hmarie, I am also in day classes and actually looking for a part time job probably in evenings or weekends. My children are all grown up so I won't be using childcare either, sorry. I got fingerprints done today and photo. If you are going to UPS store, they also do the photos and if you tell them your a student and is for school will give discount. It was $8 for the photo. See you all soon. Thanks
I am getting my physical and shots tomorrow! The amount of things I have to do in the next few weeks is INSANE! I am still in Micro for summer with two additional classes plus all the nursing stuff.
I am planning on using the on-campus daycare I haven't really looked into it too much yet. Hard to tell without knowing what to expect with the class schedule and stuff... I think after orientation we will be better informed.
That's why I went to talk to them today. I was concerned about deadlines and stuff. All she would say was they weren't all sent out. Maybe they do it so all the places you need to go aren't slammed all at once with nursing students. I don't know. I'm still nervous about it. It doesn't seem right.
