Hey Everyone!
I wanted to start a new thread for Fall 2020 applicants at El Centro, since I didn't find one already here. Let's see if we can help eachother out and answer some questions for eachother. Currently, I have 35 points, but will be applying with about 40, I believe. I'm wondering if that is competitive? Also, I need to get my physical, titers, and vaccines, but don't have health insurance. Any ideas where I can get them done at a decent price? I found a website but I am not sure if they will accept stuff from there....

If they've been evaluated already, you should be able to go on econnect > credit student > My personal information > My Advising Report (GPA) ....
Pass up the classes you've taken at DCCCD and there's a section for "Transfer"

Okay so my advising report isn’t showing anything. Is it possible that they have my transcripts but they just haven’t put the information in yet?
I’m just kind of paranoid because one time I sent transcripts to a school and they claim they never got them so I don’t want this to be the same case.

I would still get your flu shot before January 31 and upload it. They are aware that according to dates, some students will get their flu shots at different times of the year. I get mine in October every year from my job. However, call and find out who's responsible over the immunizations and ask them if you can still get a flu shot today and be compliant.

Hey, I am an ADN student at El Centro now. I was accepted with 29 points, so 35-40 is almost guaranteed to get in. The minute clinic in CVS does most of the things you will need for the program, but you will need health insurance before school starts, so look into getting that ASAP.
