Is anyone applying to cal state east bay this fall for fall 2017 ???! nursing program
So, I'm a little stressed about the WST. A friend of mine who is in the last class said he still hasn't taken his. Unknown if the WST requirement was a typo but he thinks it's pretty odd we have to do it prior to taking the classes. It is a graduation requirement only. It has been years since I have written an essay. Anyone hear anything different?

I just got my results for the WST and passed with "clear competence." If you're worried, the university offers a boot camp to prepare you for it. As for as I know, the nursing department wants you to take it atleast once by fall
Don't get stressed about WST. It's a graduation requirement and you do not have to take it before classes start. I recommend taking it in Spring or Summer before moving to Level II. And yes! CSUEB offers workshop on campus/online. You'll have plenty of time to prepare.
Congratulations to those who got accepted! And for those who did not, please keep trying and stay motivated. Good luck!
And don't worry too much, you'll get more info during orientation. My advice... enjoy your long break while you can! Fall quarter will be tough but you'll have "big sibs" who'll guide you through the program.

I know that prior students didn't have to take the WST before classes began, but I'm not sure if this is something new for our specific cohort. Regardless, the emails that were sent out today said to sign up and take it before Sept 15th. I was able to access the WST now and no longer get the error message so I signed up for the one at the Concord campus at the end of July. I heard that the computer versions fill-up fast so sign up as soon as you can.
Hello everyone,
I just got accepted from the top third of the waiting list. I'm confused about the back ground check and drug screening through CastleBranch. So, after paying $137 to this partner company, what should we do next? Where to get those tests done? I chose Hayward campus. Anyone would want to keep in touch to each other? My Skype is laxbynight
