What do you think good schedule , too light , too heavy be honest let me know maybe tell us your schedule.THANKS Love this site:):)

I think it's a very doable schedule in my opinion, but every person has thier own approach to time mgmt. Personally, I do better when I have ALOT so I take 5 courses and work 20hrs a week, my brother goes to the same school (also in nursing) and takes 1-2 courses a semester - if I only took 1 or 2 classes Id be bored and slack off. My only question is with the math - can you take a higher one, or do you need prealgebra before taking anything higher. Most schools require algebra or higher, so I'm trying to limit your courses.

I needed that math because of my entrance test for the college.I did not score very well in math.I have not used that type of math in a long time.I need the extra help so i will just have to take the higher math classes i need at another time.:)

I kind of assumed that, the great thing is a math class will help prep you for the net or teas and Im sure after this math, youll do very well in a higher math

Oh your schedule is fine, you shouldn't be overwhelmed. Good luck! Yes this is a great site. I just have class twice a week, A&P II, Gen./Organic/Bio. Chemistry, and Human development psych. If I have my old professor from A&PI for A&PII then I should be fine.

Specializes in Operating Room.

I had a light load like that as a freshman and regret not taking more courses. To me, those classes were on par with high school classes. And I learned after first semester that going 5 days a week sucks! LOL. I stuck with MWF classes all the way through.

Specializes in Med-Surg, NICU.

I would consider it to be a moderate schedule.

For this fall I am taking 15 credit hours.

General Chemistry II

Psychology

Chinese 210

My other prerequisites (English, Sociology, Biology, and General Chem I) will all be completed by the end of the summer, and then it is off to take Human Anatomy for Winter Quarter!

Well I added another class so I have 17 credit hours now.I added Sociology so I guess i will be pretty busy this fall :):).it is on Monday Wednesday Friday FROM 1:00 TO 2:15 P.M.

You should be fine with those classes. I am only taking four classes this semester but two are labs so they take more time.

Good Luck!

I think I have a heavy load of classes. :(

I am attempting 13 credit hours.

General Biology I w/ no lab (TTH.) - 8:00-9:20 a.m.

General Chemistry I (MWF) - 9:05-10:10 a.m.

General Chem I lab (F) - 1:20pm-2:20pm

English Composition (MWF) - 11:15-12:10pm

Intro to Music Theory (TTH) - 9:30-10:50a.m.

I am just wondering do any of you have little ones at home also? I do, he is 2.5 yo and I am currently 22 weeks preggo. I am working PT well it's about 60 hrs a pay period and will only be taking 2 classes. Math 50 (Algebra) and Bio 15 (intro to bio). I thought about adding another, but don't want to overdo it being as I am due the week of finals! But I also want to get as many classes as I can out of the way before I have 2 little ones in the mix.

Advice?

If I add it would be a support class like psychology or sociology.

Yes Wan2BRN, I have a 2.5 year old daughter and married...I'm kind of nervous about this semester...there will no procastination allowed. LOL! I think you should be okay if add a support course maybe you can take it online if you are comfortable w/ onlinen courses.

I am taking Microbiology w/ lab, Gen. Chem w/ lab, and Statistics!
