fall 08 at central az college

just wondering if anyone has applied to cac for fall 08? and have you heard anything baout your interview? im going crazy not knowing.....

HI. Just checked my blackboard account, and I can't see my online psy course..let alone seeing that I have been registered into nur 121!! Where did you see this. Under my courses..it is empty.

I want to see the list as well!!!

Ok,,,,here is a stupid question. I thought that we didn't have to register for class now, because our spot was reserved for us and the class space and registration would be taken care of during orientation??????? Am I an idiot or something???? I just tried to register online, but of course they are experiencing problems. Now I'm in a panic..what should I do..guess I will be on the phone with registration tomorrow. Any advice?? did you register for 126 as well? why does it say "late start" on the schedule??:icon_roll

i am so confused. i just went on blackboard and my email( first, time ...just set it up) and i have an email saying i was dropped from nur126 because they have no record of pre reqs completed...... was there something special that i was supposed to do? going down there this morning to get it straightened out and get my books...... less than a week .... woo hoo!!!

yes, you still have to actually register for the classes. i had to take in my acceptance letter to register.

As far as the CNA clinicals go. Do they teach us how to deal with situations such as "cleaning up" after a patient without losing my stomach? This will be the only hard thing about nursing for me, blood and other stuff doesn't bother me.

CNA clinical you'll do at lot of showers and change alot of adult diapers and bed making. Thats for sure!

Dealing with yucky comes with time. Sometimes no matter what smells and sights will bother you. You just use things like VICK's under your nose for the major "smells" it helps.

Did you say you took biology 201 and 202 online and there were no papers? All you did was read the text and take tests online?

Hi Timmy. I love the online courses with CAC. I took my bio 201 and 202 online and enjoyed it. I just received my set up information for psy 203 today, so it is very easy to set up your account (CAC e-mail account) for your blackboard access (this is how you will take the course). For my bio classes, I had to go into the college 4 times for exams through the testing center..but I don't know what is required for the psy. Who is your prof? Mine is Machre.

Regarding the CNA course, I loved it through CAC. The teachers are very good, and they do give you alot of tips of how not to spill you lunch when having to take care of some messy jobs!:barf01: (example, vicks up your nose:) I loved the clinicals at the hospital..very good experience on the med/surg wing. The CNA course in NOT difficult!!

No no no :chuckle I took PSY203 online with no papers due. All I did was online tests from home.

Don't know why the scrubs are that price. When we got them we were allowed to order what we wanted as far as quantity and the pricing was reasonable. Not sure why they are packaging them now...
