  1. central arizona college does not have a wait list. they are located in coolidge. if you don't get in the first time you reapply. i am in the 1st block and enjoy it so far. good school.
  2. Thanks for the info. rmacharrie. Is it difficult?
  3. rmacharrie, how do u like CAC? I got accepted for fall and was just wondering.
  4. How do you like the program so far and what is a typical day like?
  5. Why are you glad you got in at Gateway? Also, how long was the wait?
  6. AZMOM: I take it that you did not get accepted at CAC or am I wrong? What program did you get into?
  7. sorry, i should have read more carefully. i see that you have completed 6 of the co-reqs which is very good. realistically, i don't know how many points you really need and i would have to look at mine to figure out what i really have. passing the hesi on the first try is probably an advantage as well. you get x number of points for doing this, which i did, nervous as heck when i took it and shocked as well. not that i'm not intelligent it's just that i didn't think i was ready. i am very excited to be in the program and was "scared" to open that letter but it turned out great. i don't know how many applicants there were but i know that they only accept 32 students and there were more applicants than 32. i heard about 100 and there were roughly 40 when i applied 1 week prior to the deadline. probably not 100 like last semester. good luck to 'ya.
  8. Hi Lauren, I have been accepted to the RN program at CAC for fall '09. According to your date of post you are too late. The application deadline was Feb. 17 or 19. Have you taken all of your pre-reqs and any of your co-reqs? Also, you get 5 points if you are a Pinal County resident, so if not then you lose 5 points. Do you have any other questions?
  9. The AJ campus does not have the RN program yet but may have it within about 5 years. As of now the only campus that has the program is in Coolidge, the main campus. This is per the director of nursing.
  10. Christine, I will wait, maybe we can work on this class together? I didn't think about CNA, duh, of course it won't be listed!!! I am not taking bio 202 online, I am afraid to do it but I would rather do it that way. You may have already talked about how it works online but can you tell me again? Were there any essays to do and did you go to campus for tests, were they multiple choice? Thanks, Tim
  11. Christine, Why don't I see any of my classes on blackboard? I am enrolled in psy203, bio202 and cna. Tim
  12. That sounds cool! Hopefully that's the way it will be for me. Thanks!!
  13. Christine, I have Masche, is that who you meant? Also, how did your biology classes work? Tim
  14. Rhonda, Did you say you took biology 201 and 202 online and there were no papers? All you did was read the text and take tests online? That sounds like my kind of class!!! Tim
  15. Thanks for the info.! PSY203 is developmental psych. I am also taking BIO202 this fall, not online though, don't know how it is set up compared with Rio. I will also need to take BIO205 with block 1 unless I can get squeezed into a section this fall, so far no go. As far as the CNA clinicals go. Do they teach us how to deal with situations such as "cleaning up" after a patient without losing my stomach? This will be the only hard thing about nursing for me, blood and other stuff doesn't bother me. Tim:)
