Fall 2019 Austin Community College ADN applicants (ACC)

Hi ACC prospects! I figured I would start a thread for all of us applying to the ACC adn Fall 2019 semester. I am taking my HESI tomorrow morning. Anyone else out there?

You need scrubs, don't have to be teal, and closed toe shoes. You won't need any other supplies for skills, those will be provided. Possibly a watch when you get to vital signs...but we haven't started that module yet!

Hi, guys just an update... I received an identogo email today. Did anybody receive it also? Is that mean that we are super considered? Or I'm just getting excited about nothing lol.

Haha, "super considered" - I think everyone who is doing nursing skills got one, but I don't know that for sure. ? I got one as well. ?

I honestly don't even know how to calculate the scores for the program. It's my first time applying; I'm hoping it is enough to get in. My hesi score is barely there. Gpa just right and pre and co's are all done. I think that's the only thing that's going for me.

They have the formula listed on the website, so I have a general idea, but I don't know what they're accepting. We'll find out soon enough, according to the email sent out. Which skills class are you in?

Sadly, it doesn't mean anything except you submitted an application. They put everyone through the motions and the only thing that means you get accepted is the actual acceptance letter. I got the email too, I did read that they are sending out ranking emails early April!!

Does anyone know what is considered a good ranking score? If I calculated correctly my score is a 37. Is this number high enough for acceptance based on past admission scores?

Hey guys! According to the website we should receive our ranking emails in the next week. (It says early to mid April.) I'm just constantly checking my inbox at this point. Anybody finish nursing skills yet?
