I'm so sorry for you but please don't give up. Did you get feedback to tell you where your areas of further study or practice are needed? You got thru nursing school, don't let this darned exam beat you! Stay positive! :nurse: :)

I'm sorry this has happened to you again. Hang in there and keep trying. Some of the best nurses I know have failed NCLEX several times. Maybe it's just nerves? Maybe take some Ativan or Xanax next time. Buy several of the NCLEX review books (if you don't already have them) and do the CD over and over again until you're sick of them. Don't give up you will pass one day and we'll be giving you hats and balloons too ! Also buy a book on how to take multiple choice tests. I think there's one specific to nursing questions. I'll see if I can find the title for you.

I have taken the nclex eam 4 times not an RN yet. I'm happy for all the hat parties and the dancing just wondering when can i dance? I've taken the hurst review, met with them again studied now i cant even schedule until i get 200.00 dollars. First test=87, Second test=107, third test=265, fourth test=197. What can I do? any words will help I hope:saint:

i am sorry that you haven't passed your test after you have put so much into it...but there is always tomorrow...first consider your options..if you are not already an lpn consider taking your boards..it will give you meaningful work to do while you are waiting for the next test...make studying a daily habit...a couple of days before next test put all the books aside...go out to some real nice place to eat..and get a good nights sleep

I'm sorry to know that, but I agree with the others....

DON'T GIVE UP!!!!! There have been others on this site who have taken it 4 or 5 times at least.

You will pass it, and become an RN!!!! You made it through school, and you will make it through the exam.
