Do you feel that you need more content review? Or is it test taking skills? If you know your content I would say stick with JUST Kaplan. People go all crazy buying every review book there is. For me I'd be more stressed out than anything. I did just Kaplan and thought it made me very prepared. I did all of the qbank and made flashcards of things I wasn't comfortable with. When reviewing content focus on your weak areas, then do your stronger areas last.

You will make it!

Those review books dont have a real question like in NCLEX at all. Probably some but its very different. Kaplan is good..the medication drug needs more info...adverse effect should be included not only side effects..Anyways , i dont know..this is going to be my third try to pass that STUPID exam...its a waste of energy and money really...After you graduate from Nursing school you think your ready for it but no...it will screw you up with all your dreams and everything....I hate to be negative but i think the exam is a Bull....!

I Agree with you 100% it felt like i knew the first 40 questions then it seem like it got harder so i could fail.... But i understand the reason for that..... when they give you your license they wnat to be 100% sure you ready... they want you to know what labs to check immediately when the patients admitted what teaching you should give and they want you to be compentent... i admit i was really upset.... but if im not ready i dont want to be a Nurse i want to know i compentent to actully be one... I felt like all the money went the the drain... When i failed but.. i can take it as many times i like and i KNOW one day i will be a nurse:rolleyes: and i will soon get all the money back:yeah:

Hang in there, DeeDee73301. Believe in yourself and your preparedness and try to calm yourself down pretesting. It may also be an anxiety issue.

Also, try to tell yourself it's not about the money. It's about your life. God is watching out for you. There could be a career even more special waiting for you. You have the right attitude about wanting to be ready, so really, that's a first step and one of the most important.

You have so much of your life ahead of you. Don't get stuck thinking this is everything. Think of all the therapies out there. Wow! You can do whatever you want!!! Every day is a new beginning. :redpinkhe

NCLEX will never change a bit...I ask GOD twice already to pass me..but NOPE...Good luck

You may be correct about the NCLEX. Don't beat yourself up too long. Work through the grief and then go treat yourself to a massage or the beach or something nice for yourself and continue to prepare. You worked hard regardless and will nail it next time, surely. Rock on, sisters. :redbeathe

THANK YOU GUYS FOR THE ENCOURAGEMENT I WILL NOT GIVE UP... Im Just GOnna Relax and do it again....!!!! I USING KAPLAN NOW AND BOY ARE THOSE ?'s HARD LOL IT JUST LIKE THE NCLEX
