failed NLCEX-RN..

i took and failed my first NCLEX-RN..im a non-US BSN graduate and planning to re-take it early next year...but one friend of mine suggested that i should try taking NCLEX-LPN this time..what do you think guys? is that possible?:confused:

I would make more of an effort to pass NCLEX-RN before considering changing course for the NCLEX-PN.

How do you know that you failed if you just took it yesterday? I took mine yesterday also and Based on the PVT Trick I received the bad pop up.... I had so many priority level questions, charts, put in order of priority. I cried through the entire test. I don't know what went wrong but it cut off at 240ish...I say you can conquer it... Just keep studying. I failed multiple times, and I have to get this license sooner or later. God bless and I wish you good luck:o

hi gem, i tried the pearsonvue trick before during my first try and gave me a bad pop up. im very sorry to say that, this trick really works because when i had my results from BON CA, i failed. on my 2nd try last december 23 with 265 questions with SATA, drag and drop, pictures, listening, i never dared to try the pearsonvue trick again, it gives me too much anxiety. :D..im just waiting for the letter from CA or checking the BON website every now and then..

good luck to us and keep going. as long as BON is still there, we will try our best to get that license we longed for.

hi y'all!! i took the test last dec27 and i dont have my name on the board's site. i wanna ask those who stopped at 75 and failed if what kind of questions did you get??

well karen, i stopped at 75 on my first try. i only have about 7-10 SATAs, 3 computations, and forgot the others,, pictures heheheeh where you have to identify something in there. i thought i passed but i FAILED. but there are lots of people who stopped on that number and passed. PRAY harder, im still waiting my results, i took it on the 23rd of december.

well i got a lot of sata's, "what to do first" (i dont know it that counts as prioritization), like 2-4 who to see first, 2 audios, 2 delegations. i didnt have hot spot (the picture), computation and put in order. so did you do the pearsonvue trick? cause you're obviously waiting longer than i am

i never did, it skips my heart beat to try it again this time. i should wait for the result. this time, i got everything in line, SATAs, audio, loads of prioritizations, 2 computations, and everything... huh. as i've said, i did the trick the first time and had a got a bad pop up and i did FAIL last june. so the trick i believe is true. this time around, i wont do that. he h ehe. if you got good pop-ups, CONGRATULATIONS- you passed.

Are you able to see your name on the Ca- BON website yet? Notice that due to the holidays, it might take you longer to see your name posted, so just hang on and keep praying

Im actually from the Philippines and migrated here in Colorado. im glad to found a friend in you.. i still kept praying. those tears i shed took all the pains i have inside. hoping for the best to come. how long did you receive the mail notice from BON by the way? for 10 days too, right?

sorry about what you're going through...i know it's painful of waiting to hear the result, I hope you passed. The worse part of taking the NLCEX in Cali is they don't have the Quick Results just like many other states, so the waiting is horrible. I actually didn't receive a letter from the BON that's told me that I passed. I found out my result on the BON website after 4 days of waiting. Then a week later, they sent me a Blue card that's said I'm a registered nurse, and a wall certification a week later on. So are you in California right now or still in Colorado? I lived in Denver city 2 years ago and have some Phillipino's friends.
