I took my Nclex for the 2nd time. I answered all 265 questions, checked pearson vue and it went to the CC page. I can't even look at my family right now. I have no appetite and just stay in bed the entire day. I don't know what to do. I had so many questions on these conference meetings and I had like 5 ekg strips. please help me

snowyeyes2: dont get discouraged. I know how it feels to be in your situation after I failed. Don't loose hope. Just think that everything happens for a reason and this should not let you stop from attaining your dreams. It is not impossible to pass as long as you believe in yourself and pray harder. Nothing is impossible. Read more of what you are weak in. GOD bless you!

I'm so sorry you didn't make it. Don't give up! What the heck are conference questions? I know that the SATA will be my achilles heal when it comes time for the test.

Conference questions are basically education questions. Gives you a scenario but says you are at a conference speaking about a specific topic...like COPD. Then it will give you four choices on what you would say that is correct about the topic.

HI snowyeyes2! i also took the exam twice.. took the exam last week and got the results today through quick results. unfortunately i did not pass. the first time i had 75 questions, the second time i had all 265. whew! i know how you feel right now. it's really devastating. but you have to just relax. i told my mom about the result. when i took the exam i did not tell her because i was afraid of the pressure. but now that i know i failed, i told her and it was the best thing because she told me never to give up and that she is not disappointed. she just told me to continue studying and never lose hope. it's like a brick has lifted off my shoulders. you can do t! try some new relaxation techniques. take a break for a week, or just a few days before u begin to study again. hat's what i'm planning to do. we can do this! don't lose hope! we will be future nurses soon! :)

So sorry OP. What is the CC page?
Talk to your school and your board of nursing. The BON may be able to tell you how many more tries you're allowed before you're cut off. In my state, I believe it's three. If you're struggling this much but did well in school, your school should have to answer to the fact that they left you ill-prepared. In the end though, you're not alone - and please don't think that you'll lose the support of your family. Tests, by nature, have some people who pass and some who don't pass. Try not to beat yourself up too much.
I have a practice nclex question for you:
The newly licensed nurse enters her patient's room. In report, the nurse was told her patient is confused and has a #6 Shiley cuffed tracheostomy. Upon doing her safety checks, several items are missing. Which piece of safety equipment takes immediate priority?
1. Allergy band
2. Extra trache with obturator and bag/mask adaptor
3. Front wheel walker
4. Chair alarm

Don't give up! Here tips I can give to you. Since difficulty questions have been increasing you need to focus on application and analysis practice questions then you breakdown to which one that you weak on. If you always make mistakes on chest tube, go back to your content and learning it and understanding it because doesn't matter what kind of books do you use to practice questions you will see the same about chest tube. Don't need to memorize just to understand. Then find questions related to chest tube but different questions, that will stimulate your brain to be more critical thinking. Do this concept on your weakness. Believe me when you take the NCLEX and see questions about Chest tube you will know the answer right the way and make the right decision. Make sure you study all categories on NCLEX so you won't miss any of them. If you strongest in one of them don't focus too much on that just move on and focus on ur weakness. Each time you get it wrong slow down and think why it's wrong. Don't be rush. Read and understanding it.
I failed Nclex twice. I am so depressed right now. I work as a CNA, and I see all these new nurses working, which makes it more depressing. All of my classmates passed and some are working. I'm crying almost everyday and it's been a week since I got the quick results. I studied much as I can about each body system, then answered all those questions on that body system on Nclex 4000. I also used Saunders questions too. The 2nd time I took it, I answered all 265 questions. Am I stupid? I feel so stupid.. Please help me....
