Failed nclex

Published

g:scrying: failed is what my result is. I'm trying to deal with and be strong but it is so hard. I worked as a gpn for a year and I thought I would b ok. Now I realize that I could have studied way more and now I have to face the reprocussions. I feel so stupid.

Don't be so hard on your self. Many have tried and fell short the first time just try and prepare yourself some more before reattempting the exam a second time

don't worry, I failed my first time too but after letting myself rest for about a week, I got back on track with studying (i HIGHLY recommend doing PRACTICE QUESTIONS, such as the kaplan online qbank & question trainer, rather than just reviewing content from book) and was able to pass on my second try =) so YOU CAN DO IT TOO!!!!!! :)

:heartbeat thanks to everyone for your encouragement. it has been over two weeks since i took it. i am ready to get back in the saddle again and start the studying task over.

I c tht I'm not the only one feeling like this. Everyday gets better for me. I have not given up none of us should. When it is our time we will all pass. I'm determined to pass my next round. Thanks to everybody fir their input. It's very helpful. I an currently hitting the books hard and I'm now listening to audio lectures. Everybody keep hope alive!!!

Good attitude:up:, YES, we should stand up and go on.......... 'till we reach our GOAL..............:yeah:

Mocha, I'm so sorry you didn't pass. I know exactly how you feel. I failed the first time and am waiting to get my results today as I tested on 9/3 for the second time. I wish you well and don't give up! Give yourself some time to grieve and then you will be ready to attack the test again. Take good care!

I am sorry to hear that you didn't pass but I didn't pass myself. I can actually talk about it without crying so I have accepted it and I am going to start doing the suzzanes plan that alot of people talk about here. I am really just going to take my time and make sure I pass next time. you things happen for a reason right. It doesn't seem fair but there is a plan out there for us. There is nothing else in my life that I can see myself doing but to be a RN. Wish ya the best of luck and keep your head up.

just keep your head up i have been where you are at.

I am so sorry to here you failed, however, you are not stupid. You got pass the hard part which is nursing school. Take a few days to regroup, clear your mind, buckle down and study. You can do it.

Suzanne states you must have 15 posts before you can 'pm' her about her studying technique. I am 52 years old and not all that computer literate. Could someone tell me what 'pm'-ing is and how you do it? I think I only have nine posts. Whatever. :)
