  1. I was scoring mid 50s-low 60s the first time around and i retook all the questions a second time around and scored higher (gave me more confidence and assurance that i understood and remember the rationales I read the first time around). thankfully, I passed with 75 questions =)
  2. don't worry, I failed my first time too but after letting myself rest for about a week, I got back on track with studying (i HIGHLY recommend doing PRACTICE QUESTIONS, such as the kaplan online qbank & question trainer, rather than just reviewing content from book) and was able to pass on my second try =) so YOU CAN DO IT TOO!!!!!! :)
  3. I passed on my second try. I would definately recommend to keep doing practice questions! the first time I took the test I mostly just reviewed the content from kaplan course book and the saunders book but obviously that didn't work.. so the second time around I purchased the kaplan online qbank and did all the questions (doing ~200 questions/day), did all the quesitons from the kaplan question trainer (believe me, i was dying coz there were so many), reread the kaplan book, did just the questions in the saunders book. I made sure to read the rationale for all the questions, even the ones I got right. I heard from various people that the kaplan course itself wasn't too helpful but the qbank and question trainer CD's were the most helpful and most similar to the nclex questions. also, i didn't believe it at first, but i REALLY think it's important to have a positive attitude going into the test and even DURING the test. BELIEVE that you WILL PASS. the second time i did this, although i was panicking a little throughout my second try (when i passed) because i was getting so many select all questions (which i''m weakest at) and medication questions... but thankfully, i did pass :) anyway, so my best advice, as already stated by everyone else, is to PRACTICE QUESTIONS!!!! Good Luck, and God Bless!
