im new here, i just want to share my experienced from yesterday was a bad day i had. i took my nclex pn yesterday and it shut off at 85 questions.i knew i failed coz i tried the pv trick and it let me enter my cc. i was devastated. i gave all my life in it. i reviewed for 2months and this is all im getting??im so down right now.
can someone help me how to start all over and what kind of review materials i need for my second try some time next month?
i did saunders cd and exam cram. ( looks to me it wasnt enough)..
is kaplan qbank helpful? i am so down right now..guys please please help me....

Hello. I am sorry to hear that. I feel the same way as you do. I got an official result yesterday that I could not pass the exam. I took Kaplan review class, and practiced using qbank and saunders 4th edition. English is my second language, so I spent time almost five months, including weekend, but it is not strong enough to pass the exam. Even though I did not see any similar questions from Kaplan when I took NCLEX, I like to watch Kaplan review course video. It helped me to choose priority answer when I practiced. Now it is time to study again, but I am confused what kind of materials I use to review for NCLEX.
As u know this tricks works......You are in california and ur result will take 4 weeks.........
so i highly recommed that u start study again....once u get ur official result u need to send 75 $ again,,,,,,and it will take 3 more weeks to get ur att paperworks........so dont wait for result start study.........
I still haven't receive my official results yet. its been 6 weeks of waiting. my classmates got theirs at exactly 8weeks.i did not study the whole month of June coz i was still in the stage of depression, and I want to relax my mind. Now im taking a review course class and hope it will help me pass the second time. I might take it again by the end of August, hopefully I pass. Don't worry, we will pass the second time around. I have faith in God. maybe he just want us to wait a lil bit. =)
You're right. That is why I am not expecting anymore that I passed the 1st time I took it. I know pvt works for thousands of users here. All I have to do is to move on and study again. I'm taking a review course, hope it will help me pass the second time around.

I also passed my exam on 2nd attempt....
2nd time i study these 3 books and it helped me to pass..
1. kaplan stragety book ( After u read this book...u will learn which pt nurse gonna see or asign first. nothing much )
2. Exam cram 1000 question and answer book
3. incridibily made easy 2nd edition book for lvn 3000 question and answer book
4. Nclex 3000 cd did abt 1500 questions....
after reading this material i passed.......
i m not telling u to buy those all books.....
other students will tell u diffrents books....so u not gonna buy everytthing.......
Thanks Prado, I have exam cram and kaplan strategies. Im reading each diseases before I do the practice questions. I need to know the material first. Hope I will pass the second time..
