Its the way they formulate their own set of questions. 1st exam usually formulated by the school, 2nd exam is usually HESI and the 3rd exam is from school again. HESI was more easy than the school exam. Since the school has alot of bad reviews, they should atleast do something about their exams. It was really hard. I studied back to back,day and night but the way they give out the type of questions are different. I passed the HESI exam but the 2 from the school was hard. APA exam is nothing compared to the real exams in med surg. You will see it for yourself. Best of luck to you?

ICHS is extremely hard. It's not a typical nursing classes in Ca. Passed funds and pharm but failed twice for medsurg. They make their own exams. Those exams were extremely extremely hard to pass. 140 students in medsurg class and only 10% passed. The rest will repeat for Feb 5th. We all made a written complaint to the higher ups and they didn't listen to us. There is no remediation for each exams compared to any traditional classes. Just be ready because the exams are set up for students to retake the class. don't worry too much about the clinicals. Worry about the class on how you will pass the 3 exams per class. Majority of my class will repeat med surg again this Feb 5. So far I know 65 students who will repeat

@kentucky128 hello, I have some questions regarding the Excelsior classes. How is the grading syatem every term and how many exams per term?also, what are you using every exam?is it zoom or proctorio in taking the test?

I got an email from FA that I completed my financial status and on the waiting list for April 2021 class. im thinking of moving it to June 2021 so I have plenty of time to save money since I will not use any loans like sallie mar due to high APR. anyone who are confirmed for June class?

Prado, You're right. That is why I am not expecting anymore that I passed the 1st time I took it. I know pvt works for thousands of users here. All I have to do is to move on and study again. I'm taking a review course, hope it will help me pass the second time around.

crystel1986, I still haven't receive my official results yet. its been 6 weeks of waiting. my classmates got theirs at exactly 8weeks.i did not study the whole month of June coz i was still in the stage of depression, and I want to relax my mind. Now im taking a review course class and hope it will help me pass the second time. I might take it again by the end of August, hopefully I pass. Don't worry, we will pass the second time around. I have faith in God. maybe he just want us to wait a lil bit. =)

Remember my friend, in California, they usually alter the scores before they send the final results in mail, they alter it manually if they see the scores are right to pass. something like that.only California does that.lets just hope and pray..

iluvnursing07, did you pass? are you sure with your 2 classmates tabout the pvt error? did you confirmed from them? i really hope your friends are true on that, they said in California, they normaly check the scores manually before they mail the official results, they will manually turn it from failed to passed if they see the scores are right. so prolly thats what they did to your friends. We just pray to our God heavenly father for his full support..

squelchie, lets hope for the best. lets pray that there will be a miracle and lets hope pvt trick sometimes wrong.:) i will still hope and pray and pray for miracle. By the way, i took the test here in California, results here takes 4 weeks to mail. lets pray for the miracle
