Relax. Give yourself the benefit of the doubt until you get your official results. Plenty of time to get upset or deliriously happy at that point. Until then, assume you are one of the approximately 80% who pass.

Hello, Sorry to hear the news that you did not pass the NCLEX. That is very difficult and discouraging. However, now for good news, you can take it again. I passed the first time, but not all my friends did. I kept studying with a friend who did not pass, and she passed second time around and is now working. Point is, the time went quick and even though I got my license before her, we both are presently nurses and working. So, this time for you is difficult. You can still be a nurse, will just take you a little longer. Here is a suggestion for you. Use a few study guides, not too many, don't overwhelm yourself! I liked the Sanuders and the "NCLEX 4000". Use the computer to take tests, because as you know now, the environment is similar to the actual test. Take a test (perhaps 75 questions) using all categories to find out your weaknesses and strenghts. Then use the study guides, even school notes to review your weak spots. Use the study guide in test mode at least once a week to gage your progress and keep gearing your studying towards your weak points. Also, keep in touch with your nursing school buddies and ask for help! We all know how difficult it is, and we need to help each other. Hope this helps you and good luck!
PS- Sorry, I thought you DID get your official results....Oh, give yourself a breather. Don't panic yet.....you may have passed!
caliotter3, and HathawayTogo,
thank you guys for the support. yes, i have not received the actual result yet, but you guys knew how pvt really works, most people used pvt and all of then said it worked and its true.. i am so depressed.
i know this feeling will subside in a couple of days. thanks for the support, i really need that..

First of all, i am very sorry to hear that you did not pass, but You are not a Failure. Now scope out the areas that you feel you are weak in. review the content and do some practice questions. try different formats and most of all practice priority questions, you know who you will see first and so forth. if you have the saunders cd review the rationales even for the ones you get right. don't try to study so much all at once. take a break and reward yourself.
I'm wishing you all the best! :)
yep. same here im also in sunny cali

I took the nclex-rn this morning and I got all 265 questions. I did the PVT thing and let me go to the credit card page :crying2: I'm sooo sad. It just feel like all the things I studied for just didn't go anywhere else. I don't know where to start. I'm just mentally drained right now. Lets just hope for the best next time.
