Failed nclex, pls help me if you passed Nclex in 2015

Hello, I am writing this with a heavy heart as i found out that i may have failed Nclex the second time. I did the pearsonvue trick and it took my $200 so i did not get the good pop. I am thinking of doing the hurst review and kaplan but am not financial able to to because I just had a baby and i had to spent so much money out of pocket because my insurance would not cover most of the hospital bill. I was wondering if there is anyone out there that has taken any nclex prep that can help me, I would appreciate any help i can get, from study materials to study schedule. Also I would appreciate if anyone that has taken hurst review, kaplan etc can email me at [email protected]. I am at a cross road and i need help!!! Thanks

Hello! I just took my NCLEX last week, so things are still pretty fresh in my mind. I wont say what my test was like, but I will say that anxiety about failing was the worst! Especially with potential jobs lined up. I will say that I did all of the Kaplan Qbank, all of the trainers, and all of the ST tests (1-4) and the 4th one twice. If you have the financial ability to purchase Kapla, i have heard and researched that it is one of the ebst ways to prepare for NCLEX. Do not get discouraged, pray and go into the test with a clear head and a CALM attitude. After every question I took a deep breath, I ALWAYS used the noise cancelling headphones even if it was quiet, and I didnt think TOO hard about the questions. The questions will have answers that may try and trick you, so be sure to not spend too much time thinking about the answers, and instead understand what the question is asking and GO WITH YOUR GUT! Do not switch answers unless you know for sure that the answer you chose was wrong. I hope this helps!

I just passed my nclex rn on the 2nd. I used u world, Kaplan live review, and Mark klimek live review. I would HIGHLY recommend u world. It is sooo much better than Kaplan. The Rationales are so detailed and you really learn! Plus I was comfortable taking my test... I knew the medications and I passed with 83 questions! A lot of the concepts on my exam I had encountered on u world :)

I would also like to agree with the above comment, Kaplan is great for strategies and questions but if you dont know your content the rationales are terrible! They aim for strategy, and are not detailed. Other than that kaplan is great. I recomend choosing one program and going with that full on instead of trying to keep up with the learning style of each program. Good luck!

you can do it. i failed 1st time at 75 (clearly did horrible) as i did not respect the exam and did not spend the time necessary to pass. my school required ati. also i'm in ohio so i took advantage of the opportunity to attend Mark Klimek's review. i loved it!!! and his approach of understanding principles, not lists. finally i purchased ncsbn's review. very much worth the minimal cost. there content review and the 1500+ question bank was incredibly insightful. i found the questions comparable in format (maybe not in difficulty) to nclex. anyway, i found out last friday that i passed. 265 q's in 5h 56m. soo many times i just wanted to say f' it and wished the computer would just turn off (pass or fail). if you end up in that mindset... take a deep breath, DO NOT GIVE UP, and calmly finish the exam. again... you can, and will, pass.

Took my test july 13 2015. I had to go through all 265 question. I had around 40 SATA's 4 med calculations and 4 exibit style questions and lots of priority questions.my second last question was sata . I went to my card and did pvt right a way. Said results unavailable when i did pvt it took me to cc page.I entered my cc info. And it took my 200$ . I am just hoping it happened coz i did pvt before it said delevery succsessful .Fingers crossed. I will update as I get my results. I am in California and there is not quck results service. I just have to wait for official results.

It will never say delivery successful. As a CA tester it will say results unavailable forever--availability of results only refers to quick results.

. Once you are charged you cannot retry the PVT or you are guaranteed the false "positive"/"good" pop up. CABRN has been quicker in updating status in Breeze.

You did the PVT 24 hours earlier than you should have, so.....all you know is that you spent $200.

Your exam must go through a Quality Assurance review (they all do) at an unknown point during the 24 hours following your exam. All you know by doing the PVT ridiculously early is that your initial "score" MOST LIKELY had you at a 'Fail'. The QA review might flip that to a 'Pass'. It might not. But in any event, you are out the money, it is 100% non-refundable.

If you're lucky, you will have wasted $200 but have passed the exam....if you're not lucky, you at least have already paid for the next exam you will take.

I am so anxious as I am in California .There is no pvt. I dont care if I loose 200$ I just want to know that I passed. My first and second last ques was Sata . I got about 40 Sata's . And got 3 sata's in a row at one point.

When I did my lpn exam I did pvt right a way after exam in my car and I got good pop up. This time I did the same thing but got cc payment page . Just curious í ½í¸”

looking through some posts I read that many people passed the test even after getting the cc page .
