Entrance exam or exit exam? I assume entrance?
Yeah it's for the entrance exam. Have you taken it?

Sorry....but don't beat yourself up! You can do it! Yes, I feel the HESI review book is worth the $. I failed math my first time I took the test...nerves, and the fact that math is NOT my best friend. I would suggest making flashcards, and also, quizlet.com is a great website. My life is busy, as I am sure yours is, but if this is truly the path you want to take you will succeed, try to allow one-two hours just for you and your studies on a daily basis...it will pay off! Good luck with round two!
Thank you so very much, I will try anything that will help me pass but what really looks bad is the failing grade that is on my transcript, I have never failed any classes, I wish I could remove that grade.

I have the HESI study guide. It is very brief. I think it is intended to give you a review of what may be covered on the exam, but it certainly isn't enough to teach you the material. You can brush up with the English & Math sections, but you need to take the science courses to have a good understanding of what it covers.
I was given the advice that the Kaplan study guide is a better, more comprehensive study guide. It's not specifically intended for the HESI, but nursing entrance exams in general.

I am sorry, but I have been seeing a lot of questions on here about a hesi test, what is that?

HESI is a standardized test. One version is used for entrance to nursing school, other versions are used from one section to another, and for graduation from a program.
Some schools do not allow graduation without passing, others just use the tests as a diagnostic tool and/or part of the course grade. Do an internet search for a more complete answer.
I start my BSN in May 2011, i had no entrance exam, just have high enough gpa and prereq's done. probably why i hadn't heard of it. maybe I'll have to take it on my way out !

Hi I just took the hesi exam at WCU and failed! i did real bad on math and medical terms. Does anyone know if there is a prep class on the exam or any extra math question resources online or any where because the ones in their study guide arent even half of the ones they give on the test.
