Sorry not there yet (third year). Is it three times and you are out or are you looking for a way to pass next time. You made it though school- where do you think you have been going wrong on the test?

There are only three tries at either the CRNE or the CPNRE. It's the Americans who can test unknown numbers of times until they guess the right answers by luck

Does that mean when the NCLEX gets here people will have unlimited attempts?

Let's hope not!

Nobody really knows what will happen. Will it be national regs? Will the provincial Colleges make up their minds and have one standard?

What is crne or cprne?

It depends on the province that you're in. You'll have to look specifically at the college of nurses' website for your province and find out. For example, in Ontario they say you are not eligible for another exam after three attempts. Whereas in BC, permission must be granted from the college for a fourth or subsequent exam writing. Good luck to you.

Not all states allow unlimited attempts. Florida for example only allow 3 attempts 4th requires remedial course and fail that I believe they have to do the nursing course all over

Course as in entire degree, or specific courses?

For 4th attempt it has to be a recognised course but if failed that my understanding is the whole nursing course has to be done again
