Hi everyone, I wondered if I might find the answers to my question here, I was an lpn for 20 years, my family moved around alot due to my husband being in the military. during the last 2 moves my lpn license expired. Is there any way to renew or reacitvate my expired license? its a nj license.

You just need to contact the Board of Nursing.................. :)

When my LPN license expired, I just had to fill out a reactivation form, and submit my CEU's, and my fees, and all done.

i don't know how long it's been since you practiced as an LPN but there also might be a refresher course through the local community college or some hospitals, if that is a need, (been years since you last worked or something).

Depending on where you live if you haven't practised a certain number of hours in a three to five year period, its mandatory that you take a refresher before they will issue a license.
