Exciting week

It's bound to be an exciting week here... I'm in the suburbs of Chicago and the Cubs are in the World Series. I'm anticipating small scale riots in the halls and students who are tired from staying up to watch the games.

BUT this is a little slice of history! I come from a family of White Sox fans but I am super happy for all the Cubs fans! The city is celebrating (peacefully, I might add) and there's so much cool stuff to see!

Oye...not such a great job pitching by Lester last nite, and the Indians looked like a team ready to win the WS!

I have to admit that after having lived near Cleveland for 30 years, the sports teams are actually accomplishing something! Besides the Browns, that is!
