PLEASE IF YOU ARE READING THIS .....AND YOU HAVE ANYTHING NEGATIVE TO SAY ABOUT EXCELSIOR.........RESPECT THAT I DO NOT WANT TO HEAR IT, I KNOW TO AVOID COLLEGE NETWORK AND THOSE OTHER PUBLISHING COMPANIES, I AM SENDING IN MY TRANSCRIPTS LATER TODAY TO EC I AM 46 YO AND NOT A SLAVE TO COMPUTERS OR EMAIL , I HAVE A PARTIALLY PARALYZED SPOUSE AND NEED THIS ADVANCMENT. SIMPLY PUT .........HOW SIMPLE AND ENCOURAGING CAN YOU GUYS BE AND CAN YOU EXPLAIN THE WAY THE MONEY PORTION GETS PAID OUT IT SEEMS LIKE A PAY AS YOU GO GIG BUT SINCE I HAVE NOT STARTED I'M NOT VERY SURE OF THIS EXACTLY HELP!

AND PLEASE NO NEGATIVE REPLYS I HAVE READ THEM ALREADY !!!!!!!!!

You have three tries at the CPNE, some people are not successful, many people are successful. This is the chance you take when you sign up for the program. This is more difficult than just attending clinical courses in a traditional program, but it is better than having no opportunity at all.

In addition to caliotter's input ... you can also fail segments of the clinical exam but still pass the whole thing -- you are allowed to repeat some portions the same weekend. It's not like one little error will make you fail the whole thing; it usually takes a number of errors.

I just finished my LPN to RN through excelsior in April, It took less than 1 yr and I am starting my BSN this month. I am an absolute excelsior advocate. Loved it..and going back!

Hey Veronica-

I'm in an LPN prgram right now and will finish next August. I've called Excelsior and am seriously considering the LPn -Rn program. My thoughts are that I can work as an LPN and practice everything I'm learning in the online courses as I go. Can you give me some insight on this program/things I need to know? I appreciate your feedback as I get mixed reviews on this program.
