Hi there!
I just want to ask somebody here who has experience in processing for the NMC-UK with a previous experience in Saudi Arabia. Herewith are the requirements for an ex-saudi nurse to comply. Please do correct me if there are any mistakes or errors.
1 . Final EXIT Visa in ENGLISH
2. Police Clearance from Saudi Arabia - translated and stamped by the Chamber of Commerce
3. NMC FORMS - License verification from SCFHS to NMC ( to be filled up and sent )
4. Employment certificate from Saudi
- needs to have details of sick leave
-reference letter from employer less than six months with official stamp
5. Good Standing Certificate - less than six months
6. SCFHS Certification ( Gray Colored Certificate) copy in with english translation
7. Copy of SCFHS card
I know these are a lot but I just wanted to clarify on how do I obtain these especially that it has been a year since I worked from the hospital. Is it necessary to have these forms completed? thanks for the help.
TIPS and advice are very much needed. Thank you
hi there! we also have the same situation. what I did was, I made an extra copy which I filled up as a basis for my referee. the address of your employer and your referee's work address should be the same. Furthermore, if you have taken the IELTS or OET, no need for your referee to fill up section 4a/b as it only applies to countries where English is the native language. I hope this will help. I am also currently processing my documents for the application. God bless and good luck to you!
Thank you for this info. I'm still processing my form.hopefully, they will be gracious enough to have my form stamped .Again, thank you for your reply. :)
Hi there! I've been following this blog for a while now and I came across your post. I am currently processing my NMC application. I also have the same case as yours, my previous employer in Riyadh processed our SCFHS registration a year late from the start of my employment. This means that I was working as a nurse, unregistered for a year. I am kind of anxious whether the NMC will accept my application.

Hello there! How's your application going so far? I'm also processing my forms and still waiting for my previous employer in Riyadh to send them back here in the Philippines. It really takes a while and somehow complicated when you're an ex Saudi nurse. There are a lot of documents to accomplish. I hope this all ends well!
I recently passed my CBT and I am now on the process of completing the necessary documents needed by the NMC. It is just so overwhelming especially being an ex-saudi nurse too, and I am really thankful that a blog like this exists, giving some answers to my queries and worries bout my saudi docs.
I have my final exit last Dec 2017, now my Saudi police clearance is expired as well as my good standing, i've even accidentally lost the copy of my exit visa (the one my employer attached at the back of my passport), good thing according to some posts here, NMC accepts exit stamp on the passport and good standing can be obtained online but comes with price (again).
Does it mean I am still going to upload my KSA police clearance in my portal together with the translated exit stamp? (in one PDF) ?
I got another query though~ in NMC portal under work experience (employer details) it is stated there that I will only provide details there if I am RELYING on employment reference as EVIDENCE OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE competence ......... "NOTE: if your not relying blah blah... you do not need to complete this section...." Do we still need to complete this section + the downloaded reference form 1&2? If so, it should only be the latest employer if I worked 3 years for them? And I doubt that the hospital where I had worked will STAMP the document. What should I do then?
All the ones I 've known who process their NMC submitted references yet there is this NOTE from that section. Hope someone will enlighten me with this. :)
Again thank you so much for this blog and the the wonderful people here. Hope everyone will work in UK soon (for those who are still processing) and Congrats to the one who already made it. :)
Hi! I am currently processing my nmc registration when I came across this blog. It's really helpful and informative. I previously read about RAV not being filled up by saudi council. I am an ex-saudi nurse too and I'm having difficulty with my RAV. Can you help please with the explanation letter that I should
attach along with the blank RAV? It will be very much appreciated. Thank you and God bless:happy:

Hi! I am having the same doubts. May I know if you found an answer yet to that question? I was planning to keep it blank since Saudi is not included to the list of countries they provided. But just to be sure, I have yet to visit my agency to confirm this.. please if you happen to have an update regarding this, let me know? Thank you in advance.
Hi! Hope this helps. I emailed Nmc 3 days ago and I received their reply:
Thank you for your email.
You no longer have to provide employment references if you have a valid IELTS/OET that meets our requirement or if you are providing evidence under Trained in English. Please refer to our information booklet and our website for more information regarding language requirements.
We will accept the certificate of good standing from Saudi Council. Please ensure this is submitted to us by post along with a blank verification form from the portal within 3 months of issue date.
Please ensure you also upload a recent CV declaring all nursing registrations and countries lived in over the age of 18 under the additional ID section.
Kind Regards,
Vidhya Sankoorikkal
International Assessment Officer
[email protected] is their email. I think it helps to contact them for any doubts with regards to NMC registration.. goodluck to all of us:)
Hi,
Can anybody help me about the bar coded forms for the referees and declaration of good health?
I had all forms typed written and just let my referees sign. Also for the declaration of good health. The reason is they are very busy individuals and I am a bit ashamed to take so much of their time, so I asked them if I can write their details and typed it myself, though they reviewed it before signing.
This is accepted? Or should I really let them fill up the forms through hand writing?
Appreciate your responses
