Everest College Ontario RN program

Published

Hello all,

I know there are already a couple of posts for this school, but reading through the threads I didn't get all the information that I was looking for and considering that they are pretty old threads I made a new one because I didn't think anyone would look at those anymore. I've already completed all my prereqs at a community college, but I don't want to wait around forever to get into the community college rn program.

Anyways, I wanted to find out for those who are already in the program or have the info. What kind of studying should I do for their entrance exam? What kind of stuff comes in the tests. I also would like to know the cost or estimated cost of the school. And how do they go about choosing the students for the program? What exactly is the application process?

I've already called the school, but the lady that answered the phone wasn't able to give me much info except for that info sessions are in August and the program starts up again in January.

And if you are already in the program, I would like to know how to do you find the teachers to be?? Would you say that this is a good academic choice??

Please help me as I live really far away from this school and I am moving out there just for the program. It is a little difficult for me to just drive over to visit the school. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

hahaha I did that too!!! I had all my awards, and transcripts, and letters of recommendations in a binder with my name on it. I really went all out on my "portfollio".

As far as they are concerned about the essay they said that it can't be all long as they want to read it while they are infront of you interviewing you. the interview isn't hard at all. Mostly trying to get to know you. I felt like some of the questions were odd but not hard to answer at all.

Heeeeeey:) emt hope we both get in this round!!!! hey jmira!!

Hello everyone, I am new to this site. I am looking into going to Everest College in Ontario, Ca as well. My only concern is if I'm able to transfer the units from Everest to a 4 year university to get a BSN. I've been thinking about going for a BSN but not sure at the same time. I just want to have the option open of being able to go to a 4 year university if I wanted in 5 or 10 years in the future. If anyone knows, thanks :).

Does anyone have information on the Everest BSN program in Salt Lake City, Utah? Is it too late to start applying for the august enrollment date?

Hey folks,

Just wondering if anyone else has gone thru the interview process yet !!! :coollook:

im done with the interview process as well Redgyal, i hope we hear back from them soon.

Has anyone heard anything back yet, regarding acceptance into the program?

They said around the week of the 20th

That's the same thing I heard when I picked up my health packet, they had said middle of june they would start making calls.

They had said the last interview was going to be on the 10th, so i guess they should be calling us pretty soon now. Good luck to everyone.

did anybody receive a call for financial process?

I received a call yesterday, but the soonest I could get an appointment is next Friday :(, she still has more calls to make and they are only taking 5 financial aid appointments per day.
