  1. Can you tell me which acute care facility this is? I plan on moving to LA soon and would like to find a job since I will be leaving the hospital where I currently work at. Thanks!
  2. Does anyone have information on the Everest BSN program in Salt Lake City, Utah? Is it too late to start applying for the august enrollment date?
  3. Congratulation to you guys for getting in!! I havent' got a call yet but i'm keeping my fingers cross so wish me luck too
  4. I don't know yet. My advisor said that they will let the students know by June whether they got in or not. I didn't do as good on the HESI exam as I thought I would so I am hoping to retake it again asap. Also the deadline was extend to May 16, did you know that? Did you get in? I hope we both get in. Good luck! :)
  5. Hi, I have a question and would greatly appreciate if someone can he'll answer. I will be taking my HESI A2 in the next few days; my advisor said that there will be questions on Chemistry, Physiology, and Anatomy as well. Will these be hard questions or basic ones? What parts should I focus more on? I am feeling more stress now that I am getting closer to my exam date. Will really appreciate if someone who has already pass or taken the exam can give me some answers. Thanks! :)
  6. Really? Was it the exam hard? I am planing to take my sometimes next week but I am not really sure what to study... hope we both get in for the July enrollment
  7. Hi! Were you able to get in? How is it going so far? I have applied for the July 2011 start date and will be taking my HESI soon. Can you give me some advice if you have already gone through the process? Thank you.
  8. I am so happy for everyone who got in and those who had graduated or will be. I have just recently apply to CCN and hoping to get in July if its not too late. I have a question I wanted to ask those of you who are currently going to CCN if anyone knows a safe and affordable apartment that is close by the college that you would recommend. I have been doing my research but it doesn't beat actually being there and touring the places. Anything will be appreciated :) I really hope to get in so I am very excited.
  9. thank you guys soo much... i just took the exam today and... I PASSED!!! oh gosh, i was sooo nervous... my skills were range of motion (lower body parts), respiratory, and nail trimming and cleaning.. it wasn't as hard as i expected except, we never really went over the nail care stuff and i totally almost fail it, luckily the RN guided me through it and was lenient. thank god, it's all over now and i can finally breathe. anyway, allnurses.com really helped. i loved coming here. thanks everyone. simply-yer01
  10. Hi everyone, i'm taking my exam tomorrow... i'm very nervous. what should i expect and what are some of the things i should know? I have just recently finished taking the CNA course but i'm still a bit confused. when ambulating a patient with a weak side, should i stand on the weak side or strong side? what about transfer? the book says strong side but i got it wrong on a test before and someone once told me that you have to support them from the weak side... i'm confused? i would like as many help as i can before taking this exam so any advises would be greatly appreciated (since many of you have gone through this whole process before). i know it's nothing to be nervous about, but i guess i can't help it... anywase, thanks
