Hello! I am applied for Everett community colleges winter start cohort. I just wanted to start a thread where others who are also applied can share stories/grades/if they get in! I had an A- cell B- anatomy A- physiology and am in Micro now with a B. The deadline was october 15 for winter and now I am playing the waiting game to see if I get in. Anyone else applied/heard anything back yet? I wish I could find out now if I was accepted or not!

Congratulations you two!!!! That is wonderful!! :) I have been away visiting friends for Thanksgiving, so am I anxious to get home and check my mailbox! :) (Oh and I would think that you've been accepted to the program you had applied to. I'll bet they are pretty specific about that.) When is the orientation and all that? Exciting! And I hope your sister hears soon too! :)

The orientation is Dec 6 and my sister got her letter too, she is accepted also! Yay! So exciting and congratulations marydee! We're gonna be nurses!! :)

Wow! Congratulations to all of you! I did not get a letter:( Not sure what to make of that, but I will remain optimistic until I hear otherwise. Take care and good-luck in the program!

I will keep my fingers crossed for you jarni2011, the letter says we have until Dec 26 to accept entry into the program so if some people can't do it or don't RSVP then they'll probably be sending out letters to the next people on the list. You could still make it in and I hope you do, good luck! :)

Ha, ha.... Well, I suppose that would make sense because the last letter said that we would hear by the first week of December. If they sent out letters to those that made it into the program first, then they would still have time to send letters out after December 2nd if someone declines their spot. (BTW, this is my second attempt at applying. I also attempted entry into the Fall class while I was in the midst of taking my last pre-req, but I didn't make it in.)

Thanks Marydee!! I so appreciate the support. This is my second attempt as well. Last quarter I was also in the midst of taking my last pre-req, and the first time I took the math test, I passed all but one category and didn't have time to take it again. I really thought I would get in this time...... but I can see the writing on the wall. I actually applied for the full-time program, so maybe someone will not accept and I will be next in line (thinking optimistically). Take care, hope you enjoy the nursing program:)

i applied for the full time prog and didnt get in..Im wondering if I had switched over to the part time, if I would have made it..My gpa is 3.5.

Has anyone heard that there 2 tiers and if you have repeated a course youre in the second tier..Good luck to all that have made it

Ok...... to my surprise I received my acceptance letter in the mail today! It was postmarked on 11/23, so it just took a while to get to me. I am so excited! Marydee, I am in the full-time program too. I will see you gals at orientation!

rokbe- I have heard about the tiers, I believe they first choose from tier 1 then move on...... I am sorry you did not get in. Keep trying, a 3.5 is an awesome GPA! Take care:)
