I did not write them down, but you can easily get the #s through the EvCC online bookstore textbook search. Just enter Nursing 110 and all 4 books pop up. By the way, I mistakenly purchased two copies (duh) of Kozier's Fundamentals of Nursing book. One is the 9th edition and one is the 8th edition. I think I am going to hang on to the 9th edition, but if you want the 8th edition, you are welcome to it. I only paid like $20 for it ...

Ummmm ...... Did anyone else know that we were taking the TEAS test today? I wish I had known ... I was sooooooo unprepared! I hope they can't un-accept me!

Jarni2011, woohoo that's awesome! I was holding out hope for you! :) Rokbe, I too am so sorry for you that you didn't make it in (this time). Keep trying though!!! I totally know how you feel, I was also super bummed when I didn't make it in on my first try. I just figured it wasn't meant to be YET, and to be honest, I've been enjoying a much needed break from school not taking any classes this Fall quarter. 3.5 is way too good of a GPA!!! Is that your overall GPA by the way? I think they consider Science GPA above all. Please try to stay positive girl, and try again for the Spring quarter!!!

I will keep my fingers crossed for you jarni2011! (BTW, this is my second attempt at applying. I also attempted entry into the Fall class while I was in the midst of taking my last pre-req, but I didn't make it in.)

Congratulations you two!!!! That is wonderful!! :) I have been away visiting friends for Thanksgiving, so am I anxious to get home and check my mailbox! :) (Oh and I would think that you've been accepted to the program you had applied to. I'll bet they are pretty specific about that.) When is the orientation and all that? Exciting! And I hope your sister hears soon too! :)

I think everyone got the letter. Also, I don't think they conduct interviews anymore. Am I correct yunalesca147?

Hi yunalesca147, What did you end up deciding? I couldn't get to the office by 3pm yesterday, so I let that make my decision for me to keep my app with the full-time program.

Thanks for all the info, I appreciate it! I called her as well ... I wanted to know if it was possible to transfer into the full time program later down the line if you were accepted into the part time program. No chance on that one it sounds like. She said there is currently a part time program cohort right now that started last Winter quarter. And everytime they start a new cohort, it has to get approved again. She said they are accepting 25 part time students and 32 full time students this quarter. (But she wouldn't say how many applications they got in total.) Decisions! Decisions! Good luck with your's!

Hey, I'm glad you got the letter too! It just seems weird that they haven't given us any info and they want us to decide right away. Do you think everyone that applied for Winter quarter got this letter? How can they ask people to throw away their chances of getting into the full-time program to apply for a part-time program that isn't even approved yet? It all seems iffy. Do please let me know what you find out! Thanks!!!

I got a letter in the mail today stating that my application is currently being considered. It said they are starting up a part time, 10-quarter program this Winter 2012 as well ... and they are offering me the chance to switch my app for that program instead. Did you or your sister get that letter? I just got the letter in today's mail and it says I have to decide by tomorrow at 3 pm. There was hardly any info offered about this part time program, except that it will end Spring 2014. So if its 10 quarters long, it must run through the summer as well?

Skagit is not accepting a Winter class this year, so they probably received even more apps than normal. Let me know if you hear anything & I will do the same. It's nice to know that someone else out there is also playing the waiting game. :) Good luck to you as well!
