Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hey, I haven't found a forum for the new nursing application for Evergreen Valley College. I was wondering anyone can share their scores. I have 62, I am not sure if its high enough to get into the program.

Hm that’s strange then. I hope you get it figured out with the school!

I never had a problem LOL or I never received an email saying other wise. It was the person before that had trouble. Maybe transcripts took longer than normal or was sent to admissions and records instead is what I’m thinking.

I don't think we can.. but they will e-mail us Feb 28th if we get accepted. GOOD LUCK!

Anyone know by chance on average how many apply/range of applications the program receives every year? and what is the cut off for points?

TIA

Where else did you guys apply to if I may ask?

Hi I'm a recent graduate but I got admitted in the last cycle they did a lottery pick, but I can tell you they usually admit 80 per year 40 for Spring and 40 for fall. My year they had over 400 applicants. There's was alternate pool as well meaning if you got admission as an alternate you pretty much sat in and if anyone dropped In the first 3 weeks of the semester, you would get their spot. Otherwise you had a guaranteed spot in next year. I was an alternate. Evc professors are dope tho, highly recommend

Hello, thanks for sharing! May I ask when did you apply and how many points did you apply with? Or was it just purely lottery when you applied? Thank you so much!

Was anyone able to get points for work experience that wasn't listed on generic application? I've worked at CVS as a RX Supervisor for 1000+ hours; I perform similar functions to a Pharmacy tech but in a more limited capacity and without a license. Wondering If I could get any points for that. I'll email them but just curious if anyone here had any info. I also got my EMT license and will be starting work hopefully next month part time so I may not hit the 1000 hour mark by next app period.

It was just lottery when I applied back in 2017

Hi!

I'm currently about to start my second semester in this program. I always appreciated honesty when I was going through the process. If any of you have questions, feel free to ask and I will try my best to answer them.

Good luck to all of you!
