Hey, I haven't found a forum for the new nursing application for Evergreen Valley College. I was wondering anyone can share their scores. I have 62, I am not sure if its high enough to get into the program.

Thanks for starting this thread. I’m still waiting on employment and relevant course work verification but I think I’m sitting at about 60 points at the moment. I think 60-65 has been the cut off the last few cycles.

Thanks for posting this. I agree with jdg831 I think the 60s is a good score. I looked back at last years to give me an idea. If everything goes as planned and they accept my pharm pre req, I will be at 82 points. I am lacking in health experience as they only give u points if u have worked over 1000+ hours, right? Good luck everyone!!

Hi everyone so I'm potentially at 77 points (maybe 69 points if my work experience doesn't go through) I worked as a CNA for 800 hours but then I got a job at a hospital working in nutrition... It's not 1000 hours of CNA work which is the problem but I'm going to still include the experience at the hospital because it said some experience can be included at the hospital so I'm praying they give me full points. I just asked my boss to please really emphasize patient interaction.
This year may be a little different and I'm super nervous because CSUEB isn't taking application so there may be more competition… or maybe some people may not have a desire to apply this cycle because of COVID(its been a rough year?) But who knows how things will go. Lets say I'm at 69... I just hope its enough to get in.

Hi everyone,
I applied with 78 points! I'm hoping they notify us sooner than the end of February, especially since the application period closes at the end of this month. Does anyone know if they tend to notify earlier than the given date?
OMG wow everyone has high points?I mean it’s a good thing but man now I feel like my chances are slim?
Just submitted last night, had to wait to get my relevant coursework confirmed. I’m at 79 points currently. I have over 1000 hours of patient experience but don’t have a license of any kind so I think I could get anywhere from 80 to 84 if they allow my work experience. Good luck everyone!

congrats!! How long did you wait to get your relevant coursework confirmed? I submitted my forms a while ago for approval. they told me I could submit with it being "pending".... but I am still waiting to see if it gets done this week.. otherwise I'm submitting this weekend.

Thanks! It took probably close to two weeks. A big part of that was I had to chase down the syllabus from my pharmacology class. Once I had that it moved fast. Hope that helps
