That's who I was in touch with as well.. and he sent it out to the appropriate department, but the only one who got back to me was the bio dept fro micro. I just sent an e-mail out to literally everyone, so I hope I get something back on time LOL thank you though!

congrats!! How long did you wait to get your relevant coursework confirmed? I submitted my forms a while ago for approval. they told me I could submit with it being "pending".... but I am still waiting to see if it gets done this week.. otherwise I'm submitting this weekend.

I have not, but I am still going to submit..they don't have an update on my course eval yet.

“Students may earn points for courses completed at other accredited schools approved to be equivalent through Petition for Course Substitution/Equivalency. Petitions must be approved prior to applying and must be on file with Admission/Records”

I got that straight from the EVC nursing app website and it’s what I went off of.

How do you petition ? Who do u submit the documents to?

I did drop in counseling and eventually got connected with the nursing department’s counselor. The docs need to go to the nursing department and they need transcripts and a syllabus for each class you took. They’ll evaluate them and get back to you.

Yeah, basically, if courses you took are not listed on ASSIST, you must do a course equivalency form.

The only form I need left is for my Pharm class. I wanna get points for that so I had to fill one out bc it wasnt coming up on ASSIST.

Where did u get the forms and who did u ema them

to? I already submitted my application I wonder if it’s too late

where did you take your classes? chances are you don't need to submit a form. but the form can be found on the EVC Nursing website.

I’m pretty sure if the coursework is taken at a local college and it is on the course equivalent form you do not have to file a petition.
