May I know how long it takes to endorse from Ca to Wa.

Took about 2 weeks for me to get my Oregon license with an endorsement application--I imagine would be similar in Washington.

I work in CA....just applied for endorsement in WA. They don't let you check your status for 3 weeks...they tell you approx. 6 weeks. I'll let you know in a week!

I just wanna ask if you already received your license from WA? When did you apply for endorsement? I did mine too and it's been almost 6 weeks now and I never heard anything from WA BON. Do I need to call them to verify my application? Please let me know if you got your license already.BTW, I'm applying endorsement from CA to WA too.Thanks in advance.

Hi! Sorry for the delay....I got my license by endorsement in about 3-4 weeks. They take their time mailing it to you, though....the paper copy didn't come for 6 weeks, but I saw that it was granted on the website. If you go onto the website for WA BON, and go to "check license", you will probably see that yours is there....either granted or pending. It took only 3 weeks to be on the list as pending. Hope that helps.

Oh, BTW, the license has to be renewed in a year....I find that odd!

Really? You got yours after 3-4 weeks? It's been 6 weeks now and I haven't received mine. How long did it take for the CA BON to send the Verification of License? I saw from their website that it takes atleast 6 weeks before they send the paper to WA BON. Is that true? I'm actually freaking out now because I already got a job in WA and that's the only thing I'm waiting for. I couldn't start working, unless I have my license in my hand.Actually, I already saw my license in WA BON, it says "PENDING" on the status so I'm wondering when can I get my license. Did you call the CA BON to verify if they sent your Verification to WA BON? This waiting is killing me! It's really frustrating to wait and wait. I hope I'll receive mine this week. Thanks alot!

Oh yeah, I knew about that. I find it odd too. Well I guess each BON has different policy which is really driving me crazy!Thanks again.

Hi guys - I would check with the CA BON....they would know. I would be worried too....but likely it's only a snag. I think you can check on the verification procedure in CA. Give it a try, or call their toll free number. Be prepared for a wait, though, as they have high call volume. I'll bet that if it's now Pending, that you will receive it soon.

Thanks! Yeah, I called both BON and I saw my name in WA BON with "Active" status now but I haven't receive my license yet. You're right they take their time to send it. Well anyway, thanks alot!

First of all you need to be patient in endorsing a license because it takes a while. But anyway, here's the procedure.

Fill out an application form from WA BON (You can download it from their website at www.doh.wa.gov in the Licensing Requirements if I am not mistaken. Then forward your completed application to WA BON, Verification of License to CA BON (it takes 6 weeks for the processing). You can check the fee in their website (www.rn.ca.gov) to make sure it's right. But when I applied, just recently I paid $60 (note: its only for the verification, Transcripts of records are not included yet). You can get a copy of your transcripts from them but you need to pay separately ( i think $30 plus it might take a whilet to get it.)What I did is I got a copy of my transcript from my school which I think was easier. BTW, You need to have an AIDS training before you can apply for endorsement to WA. If you feel you already have the AIDS training go ahead and apply but if not they have a list of the agencies/facilities that offer the AIDS training program and you have to enclosed $70 dollars money order or cashier's check with the application. But you will read all the instructions anyway, once you downloaded the application form. It's pretty much easy to understand and follow the instructions.

Ok, i hope I give you some info. I'm just waiting for my license. I'm all done with the application and I was already approved. Goodluck!
