Whew! Semester is over! I hope everyone did well! I only had 2 nursing classes as all my gen ed's were done. Got A- in both. Kinda bitter I didn't do as well as others in my class, but I have a chance to try next semester! I don't even know what to do with some of this "free" time hahaha

I had psych nursing the first 8 weeks, peds/med-surg II the second 8 weeks, and pharm III 16 weeks. This semester was ROUGH but I managed to get B's in everything. Break is definitely a culture shock

Not good. Third semester in ADN program. I got a B in psych nursing, disappointed because I missed an A by a 0.5 point. Still I'll gladly take a B. However, I failed Med Surg II. Finished with 74.38 and our passing cutoff is 76. I had to file a request to return to the program and retake the class in the Spring. I just got approved.
I definitely don't want this to ever happen again. The biggest disappointment is that with 3 semesters together and only 8 of 19 of us making it through the first year, we had really formed a bond and I am pretty down about not being in that cohort and graduating with them.
Still, I know what I need to do to pass and the group I'll be in is good too.
Nicely done!
I'm sorry to hear about that class, but congrats on the B! I'm sure you'll do great the second time around and even though it stinks you aren't with your cohort, I hope you'll meet close friends in your new class!

Whew! I just graduated from my ABSN program. But the weight is still not off my chest because I have to pass NCLEX.

So no break for you! Though you probably deserve one. Sooner the better everyone says. Good luck!

I just finished my first semester in ADN program. I got an A. I had to work hard to get it, but I am looking forward to my next semester.

This was my final semester; was taking Med Surg 3, Psych & Management along with ATI. Managed to get B's in all classes (Really wanted at least one A lol) & I have a job offer that I accepted on a Intermediate Care floor. So glad to be done with nursing school omggg

Finished my 1st semester with an "A" in Nursing Funds and a "B" in pharmacology (89% grrrr!).
I really hope clinicals are better next semester with med-surge and ob/peds. This first semester we hardly got to do anything we were cleared to do. And we had a clinical ratio of 8 students to 1 instructor and our teachers were engaged. I had to pester RNs at the facilities until they would let me give a shot or do much of anything besides take vital signs.

Finished third semester with 2 A's and a B :) It feels amazing to have a break, and I'll say I'm proud of myself for what I've accomplished.
