End of Pre-Reqs, laziness

I'm on my last two classes (on the track to A's) and I'm getting so LazY about studying as the semester gets closer to the end. I'm worn out from A&P 1 & 2, chemistry, Micro, etc. I'm so ready to be done and have a brain break. I've already applied, and won't find out until March. I have about 5 weeks to go! AHHHHH!!!!!!!!!1

Anyone else getting lazy or feeling lazy and having to fight through it?

It's getting easier to justify away why I can study later, or start a paper tomorrow instead.:uhoh3:

I'm feeling the same way, but I've already been accepted to a nursing program for Spring 2011. I'm on track for A's, too, and I often tell myself that it'll be so rewarding to finish up with a 3.98 GPA. Admittedly, I've slacked a couple of assignments, but only if I'm studying for another class. Otherwise, I just keep at it. Hang in there...just one more month to go!

I'm at the home stretch as well taking A&P II I'm on my wAy to an A, so close but still fill so far I'm at a 88% with 2 tests left still I keep putting off studying until tomorrow but I know I have to get it done to do well on the tests for the A. The slacking might come from for me from not being sure when I'll get it I can't even apply to most lottery schools around me until June and the semester won't start until fall at least you guys applied already or are already in we have to wait until our pre Reqs are finished ugh lol

I am feeling it too. Finishing up my last science class. I find out about my first choice in March also.

I am with ya! I finishing up my final 3 prereq classes. I have had a tough semester with chemistry, but it has all been worth it. I am also on track for all A's! I only have 2 weeks left of classes, then a week break, then back to the grindstone with A&P 1 and a couple of other easy classes. Keep at it, not much longer and the real fun ill begin! :) Good luck

I feel the same way. Can't wait for this semester to be over. I start nursing classes in January and I am sooooooo looking forward to the break before the real work starts. I've slacked up a bit on studying too. Part of it is because I'm not finding Micro, my last pre-req that I'm taking this semester to be as challenging as the other sciences. I barely study and still get an A, that worries me. I'm happy for the A, but I know its a bad habit that I've fallen into so I need to get back in the habit of regular studying before I start nursing classes in January.

I'm in the same boat. I apply to the nursing program as soon as this semester ends, my advisor has told me that I should not have any problem getting accepted into the program. I probably won't have straight As but I should have 3 As and 1 B at the lowest. I'm so burnt out on my classes and I'm just flat out lazy at this point. My brain wants a break, I know I won't get one especially when I start nursing classes but I'm just over all the pre-reqs.

I have Micro now too, and ITA! I have over 100% in this class without even half the effort it took me to barely hang onto an A in A&P 1. The first few weeks of Micro I felt odd and guilty for not putting in the same amt of time, but I'm over it now. I simply do not need to study the same amt this time to yield the results I want.

Yeah, Micro is a breeze compared to A&P. I almost miss studying for a gazillion hours a day. LOL! I feel guilty not studying as much. I've even gotten behind in my reading and had to cram the night before a micro exam and still got an A, something I know I could have NEVER done with A&P. I just don't want that bad habit to carry over when I start nursing classes. But I'm with ya, I feel burnt out right now. I've been doing my pre-reqs non stop for almost 2 yrs now, never took a summer off, so right now I really feel like I need a break.

BTW, good luck!
