Hi everyone! I'm planning to apply in SLMC-e.rod, though I heard that they will start the hiring process this coming September.. Do you have any idea on how many exams and interviews you will undergo before they will accept you for the training? Let me share with you the requirements needed: resume, photocopy of PRC license, board rating, board rating certificate, class ranking, GWA, TOR, diploma, and 2 pcs. 2x2 pics (white background)..

Your replies would be greatly appreciated..

Godbless! :wink2:

hello everyone. could anybody please tell if recruitment has resumed already? as for passing the requirements only at the pigeon box, do we still need to come in business attire? hoping for a reply.

hi, yup most of the agencies prefer nurses who have at least a year of experience as a staff nurse in a hospital with 100 bed capacity. But I suggest that if you're hired as a clinic nurse seize the chance while waiting for your staff nurse applications at other hospitals.. Can I ask how you applied for the job? Where did you submit your resume and did you indicate that you wanted to work in the clinic? thanks

i just passed my resume to their hr department at the 5th floor main building. unfortunately, they do not have any available position as staff nurse, so the hr offered if would still be interested in becoming an auxillary nurse.

Specializes in Pre-hospital Care, Remote medicine.

what does an auxillary nurse do? is it similar to a nursing aide/attendant?

does anybody here knows if they hire ER technicians?

i submitted my application first week of November 2009, a week before they stopped accepting applications. I was wondering if it's okay to followup considering those that were almost through with all the steps and just waiting for the final interview...

Hi. I have recently went to SLMc at e.rod to submit my resume but i was told by the guard that the HR office was moved to Global city. So, i went off there, and the guard told us that all resumes will be submitted by them to the HR office. It's a sad thing because we haven't got any chance to get inside of the new facility. Anyway, i'll make my own way just to take a look of its new building.hehe. I'm just wondering to barrykristine, how come have you submitted your resume in their office at e.rod? Thanks for any response there...Anyone can enlighten me?

auxiliary nurse = clinic or outpatient nurse

@phaneenrix: thanks for your reply. global city is quite far. hopefully you'll be accepted. =)

Specializes in ICU.
Would having a high class ranking be an advantage? How about a high board rating?

Reality is, it will always be an advantage. But what would give you way far more advantage is a "backer". Heheh.

guys, do they accept nurse trainee there? in global city?

i went @ e rod yesterday,i think they also accepts applicants for global city but just for manpooing only.and regards to e rod hosp,i went there and even heard that they will open 4 staff nurses because of some staff of e rod asked them to transfer @ global..therefore,there will be a possibility for e rod st lukes to hire new batch of staff and probably nurses..that's what i heard, not that sure..but i heard this even twice to two different people who have friends there..

i also didnt have any clue when they will open or if they will hire..just shared what i heard.hehe...just post here if ever they will hire guys..thanks!!

hi. i just want to ask if anyone of you guys know any hospitals who are accepting volunteer nurses. i am from quezon city. do you also know the their requirements? any reply would be appreciated. thanks in advance and God bless!

I heard from my friend that some staff nurses are being transferred from global back to erod because of low volume of patients at global in other words... whatever vacancy they have at erod are being filled up by staff nurses from global.

i hope someone can clarify this. i actually want to followup the application i submitted last November.
