Hey, so I haven't seen any new threads pop up about the next round of Emory's new grad residencies. Has anyone applied recently/heard anything? I'm scheduled for an interview at Midtown on the 30th, but I'd like to talk to/hear from others going through the process or those who have already been through it. Anyone know if the interview is just the group, or if you pass the group interview and then have to come back for another one-on-one? I'm from out-of-state.

Hi, sorry, my email only notifies me every once in a while when there's an update on this forum. But yes, it was about 8:00am eastern time. Then after calling and emailing Amanda Kranz, I got a call back at about 11:00am eastern time. And the offer came from Ms. Kranz, not the managers, so expect to talk to someone from HR.

Have you or anyone else on this thread taken their NCLEX? Is it really hard? Any pointers? I just finished my first semester of nursing school and I was wondering if I should start preparing now or just wait until after graduation? Thanks!

If you're just finishing your first semester then your school should already be preparing you... NCLEX is essentially everything you learn in nursing school, so I don't know how you would go about studying already since you haven't learned most of the content to begin with. Focus on passing your classes and gaining/applying knowledge for now, then revisit the NCLEX as your further along in your studies.

I got your friend request! I'm new to this site too, so I don't know how to chat - based on other posts I've seen, you have to be a member for a while (or have posted a certain number of comments) before you "earn that privilege."

That's strange..it's a closed group, but it should still be searchable. Did you type in the exact name? I can change it to public just to be safe if you still can't find it!

It's not working. I will create a closed group- whats your name so I can add you on FB. I look forward to connecting with everyone. IF someone will post their name, I will invite you to the group. Ok I'll change it to public. But even closed, it should still be searchable..that's odd because someone already requested to be added to the group, so they had to have found it somehow lol.

Hi! Well someone already requested to be added to the group, so I have no idea why it's not searchable for others? The only reason I would think it may not have come up is if maybe you added the quotation marks when you typed it in? I even searched it from my mom's account and it was the first one that popped up lol. I'm private on FB, so even if you search for my name it wouldn't come up.

I just changed the group to public, but I'll change it back to closed as soon as we get enough people added. I customized a web address for it, so maybe this will make it easier to find:
