Emory New Nurse Grad Residency Program March 2016

Hi! I have looked around, but I could not find any posts about the March 2016 Residency Program at Emory University in Atlanta, GA so...I thought I would make one :-)

Has anyone else applied or does anyone have any info about the overall process? Thanks in advance!

Has anyone else sent in references...I'm really starting to feel nervous especially since I am out-of-state. Would they possibly have us come for an interview and we not be offered the position? Sorry for all of the questions guys 😁

I got the email like Wednesday. They require 5 references.

Also update I'm interviewing for both the medsurg and icu residency

The only one I have been asked references for so far was the specific critical care residency at Emory St. Joseph by William Kelly but I haven't heard from the recruiter from the other position yet so I wouldn't worry.

I'm not 100 percent sure. I've been emailing my recruiter for confirmation but I haven't received a reply. I also attempted to call but no one seems to answer the phone. I'm coming from out of state and already bought my ticket..makes me pretty nervous.

I also haven't been receiving a lot of help from the talent requisition team so I'm writing this for the future nursing grads interested in pursuing EMORY that will read this later down the line: (1) plan to attend the interview on-site as they do not accommodate Skype interviews; (2) Request confirmation of the hospital location and position when responding to the interview invitation; (3) If you do not hear from your nurse recruiter, contact HR. The # is listed on the residency FAQ page. (4) Keep your hopes up! If they see potential in you, they will contact you.
