Emory New Nurse Grad Residency Program March 2016

Published

Hi! I have looked around, but I could not find any posts about the March 2016 Residency Program at Emory University in Atlanta, GA so...I thought I would make one :-)

Has anyone else applied or does anyone have any info about the overall process? Thanks in advance!

The entire process was nice. I interviewed with one manager and he questions were pretty much situational- a time when I had a difficult patient, had to prioritize, etc.

Sounds good! I'm sure you got the position! (:

Thanks for the positivity because I surely need it during this waiting game lol

Hey everyone! Has anyone heard anything?

Not yet! When does everyone think we'll hear by? And does anyone know if they are letting us know either way or if we'll only hear from them if we got a position and just have to assume if we don't hear soon that we didn't get it?

While I was waiting in the "holding area" the lady said we should expect to hear something in two weeks. She made a joke and said on November 13th at 10:00am we should hear something. She also mentioned that ideally HR should get back to everyone regardless if you didn't get a position. I'm pretty sure she said HR would email us but I'm not 100% sure. I will say that I get super nervous every time I get an email! Two weeks is such a long time!!! At the conclusion of my interviews I talked with HR from EUH and she mentioned that she wanted to get back to candidates ASAP so as not to loose anyone. So....I'm hoping to hear something by the end of the week. :) (I'm being ridiculously optimistic)

Yeah wow two weeks is forever... I was always told Emory gets back to you super quickly so I was thinking like the middle of this week. Well that's disappointing haha

Well guys I received my pre employment forms today so let's stay optimistic!!! We've got this!

Congratulations that's amazing! Which hopsital and floor?

Thank you, but I'm so not sure even though I want it to mean that I got the job. What do you all think??? I only interviewed for critical care so I'm not sure about the floor. I'm really praying that this means that I got the job since I had to fill out the form for a background check [emoji16][emoji16][emoji16]

Yeah it definitely does pending the background check and health and drug screen. Is it for euh?

*saying a prayer* I hope so! I interviewed with Midtown.
