Emory New Nurse Grad Residency Program March 2016

Hi! I have looked around, but I could not find any posts about the March 2016 Residency Program at Emory University in Atlanta, GA so...I thought I would make one :-)

Has anyone else applied or does anyone have any info about the overall process? Thanks in advance!

I interviewed for EUH and for two different departments. Is is weird that they sent me all the pre-employment forms to fill out even before the interview?? My recruiter sent me a whole pack of information in an email: RN payrate, benefits package, the residency contract, background/pre-employment paperwork. It was pretty reverse for me compared to everyone else. Don't know if good or bad :/

I applied for euh and didn't get that from them but I also applied to st Joseph as well and that recruiter sent me all that information minus the background check so maybe receiving it before just depends on the recruiter? And they are just trying to give you some more information about them. I don't think it would mean anything bad getting it before an interview. I think getting that after would be a sign of a job offer. But maybe I'm reading it wrong who knows. Just hope we hear something soon.

I also received all of the pre-employment information before my interview, as well as a authorization for a background check. I interviewed at EUH. So maybe it is just the preference of the different HR reps.

Me too! I'm trying to stay positive since they sent me the pre employment forms yesterday but I'm guessing that they sent that to everyone so idk anymore [emoji17]

Keep your optimism up! They asked YOU to interview..not everyone got that opportunity. And I'm sure you have a great impression. Like clemnurse said they gave to you After... that means something.
